Nordic Microcrampons

I used these last winter but was slightly disappointed. Easy to attach and remove. Relatively light weight.Ground underfoot was soft and snow beginning to thaw. I found that the ice balled under the grips and I had to stop every yard to kick it off. I suspect that they would be ideal on hard snow and earth. So I’ll keep them in my sack for next year but will use if it’s really icy. The lesson is that they don’t suit all terrain but I’d rather have them as security if I hit compact snow and ice
