Australia Map (National Geographic Adventure Map, 3501)

Help with our trip to Australia. Good reference guide

This is a very sturdy map that we referred to often in the hotel in the evening during our trip. It's printed on both sides, with half of the country/continent on each side. All the roads in the less-populated areas are on it, and national parks and other areas of interest are included. It's a large-scale map, though, so for cities you'll need a more-detailed printed or digital map.

The map shows roads, which some maps do not. Just what we were looking for.

I like that is durable but had to buy 2 maps. I cut off one margin and glued it together. It fits perfectly. The biggest problem with the map is that it divides Stuart Hwy (Adelaide to Darwin) in such a way that it goes from one side to another making it difficult to use for a trip through the center of Australia. Taping 2 maps together and pinning it on a wall worked for me. Otherwise it is difficult to use. Had they divided it west of Ayers' Rock, it would be perfect.

It arrived on time. Upon further inspection it looks bran new, unused, I'm very happy with this purchase. Its going to help make my future adventures more easier to plan.
