Metal Stencil Bookmark for Bullet Journals

Purchased this item to use as an eraser shield for drawing. The metal is thicker than expected which is brilliant, much thicker than purpose made erasing shields I have purchased. Overall I find this item to be of a high quality and fit for my purpose which is why I have given this a five star. If you were to use for a stencil you would need a fineliner to make markings in some of the icon outlines, I would recommend a 0.2/0.5 fineliner. As a bookmark it is practical! So many uses!

A nice and inexpensive stencil. It is definitely for fine work and worked well with my 0.7 and 0.5mm pencils. It is made from thin steel and you must accept that it is a different material to plastic stencils. I have worked with erasing shields that were as thin or thinner than this stencil and had no issues. If you have some experience of technical drawing you will have no issues with this item and it will serve you well.

Lovely, I like this ruler as it has good general purpose stencils. The shapes are ideal for bullet journals as they are 1cm wide. Extra kudos for the dotted line stencil.

This is super frustrating. On the one hand, it's delightfully thin, has a great selection of shapes and the boxes and larger shapes are matched to the scale found in Lechtturn journals! On the other hand, the shapes are too small for anything other than super fine pen/pencil tips and all the edges of all the metal are absolutely square which means they're very sharp and break pencil and ruin pen nibs rendering them effectively unusable. I'm going to try some fine sand paper on the edges but either way I'm not converting to super-fine pens so I'll be drawing the various shapes freehand.

Wow, this ruler/bookmark/stencil combo is a 'must have' for anyone who is into planners or bullet journals. I used a bog-standard fine liner when I tried it out and had no problems at all; I have a feeling it's going to be invaluable in my bullet journal. Although it's metal, it's thinner than a credit card and the ruler edges can be used to cut things like Washi tape or sticky tape, which is a bonus. Definitely 5/5.

Really neat, sturdy little ruler, I keep it in the back of my bullet journal. The only issue I have is that it's tried to fit so many tiny icon stencils in there, and while they're cute they're just too small for most ballpoint pens, pencils, and definitely fountain pens to make use off. Perhaps a very fine mechanical pencil or fineliner would work, but much of the detail gets lost otherwise. The ruler edge can be bumpy if you angle the drawing implement wrong, but that can be countered with... a little common sense, frankly. Other people have found issue with seeing where to draw the icons... again, putting a dot and finding it through the stencil is a simple way around this. My issue is solely with the size of the stencil icons - I actually love that it's a sturdy metal.

Very thin material so might bend after a while, you also need a very thing own to use the smaller stencils. Apart from that absolutely awesome!

il righello è carino, pensavo fosse un po' più pesante invece è molto sottile. Le icone sono un aiuto ma va utilizzata una penna con punta fina (non la classica Bic o un pennarello 0,8) altrimenti non riesce proprio ad arrivare sul foglio. Bisogna prestare attenzione a premerlo bene sulla carta e a seguire le linee, perchè essendo così sottile (ed è fatto apposta per poter usare le icone interne) è facile passarci sopra con la penna. Attenzione che, la parte con le cornici lunghe è aperta per tutta la lunghezza del righello e questo ne diminuisce la robustezza. In generale, comunque, se lo si usa a livello amatoriale per fare piccole cose va benissimo.

Elegantly useful, perfect for the purpose. Each cut is precise and there's a lot of variety, fits perfectly with the Bullet Journal method with some shapes and designs applicable to other kinds of scrapbooking and journaling. Nice and sturdy and well made, and it fits in the back pocket of the journal I use.

Symbolen auf der Schablone ist vielfaltig und nützlich. Ich revidiere meine ursprüngliche Rezension mit 4 Punkten und vergebe 5 Sterne. Wenn ich könnte würde ich noch mehr geben. Ich habe das/die Lineal bzw. Schablone 05/2021 gekauft und ich habe es noch immer JEDEN Tag in Gebrauch. Also die Qualität ist super. Meine erste Rezension waren nur 4 Sterne da ich es damals zu dünn fand. Das hat aber absolut seinen Sinn. Ich benutze einen Kalender mit Ringbucheinlagen und da ist dann mal schon kein Platz wegen den Ringhaltern. "Etwas" biegen während man die Schablone benutzt und alles ist wunderbar.
