these are as stated, razor sharp and heavy! i immediately sliced my thump open removing wrap- frightening but educational demo for the family. My fault, just not used to razor sharp knife. They are AFRAID - lI wont have to worry about them messing with them. ! Bought the magnetic board, my wife made me turn it to the wall, not because they dont look good, but fear factor! Got to admit, when i pull one off i am being careful. Time will tell how they hold the edge, but for now, wow. Got a set of 3, so far have only used 1.

Bought these for myself since I needed a new set of cooking knives and the husband couldn't help but notice and loves them!! Lol.Very easy to use, HEAVY, quality feel, super sharp, balanced, extremely functional, I used the blunt side to crack open some garlic while cooking, and so far it's handled everything like a champ.Definitely looking at these as good gifts for the men folk in my life! ; )

Based on the packaging alone, I was worried. The feel of and logo on the box just looked like low quality, but boy was I wrong. Once I opened the box and handled the knives for the first time, these feel like such a steal. They're weighty, forged steel. Not only that, but they're SO sharp. Out of the box they easily shaved hairs off my arm, I'm so impressed. The handle material seems like real wood and the rivets look like brass. Overall I'm very excited to use these and for the money, couldn't recommend them more.
