I bought this because I have a relatively small front porch for leaving deliveries. Packages would arrive and most of them, of course wouldn’t fit between the screen door and the inside door so they would be left on the porch almost anywhere, in any weather conditions. Sometimes semi-large, heavy boxes would be left so close to the storm door that we couldn’t open it easily. This IS the answer to that problem! I also purchased signs for the lid and the front of it that say, “Leave packages here,” and it has been a game changer! I’ve only put the one on the lid so far, but it works about 98% of the time. (You always have that one delivery guy who doesn’t really go up onto the porch, he just puts the package there and doesn’t pay attention.) It has proven to be weatherproof, in terms of rain and snow, so I don’t have to worry about wet packages when I come home or if I didn’t hear the delivery being left and got to it several hours later.When my usual Amazon delivery guy saw it the next day, I happened to hear him and stepped out to grab the package from the box. I thanked him and he asked if I wanted him to put packages in the box from them on and I said I did. He complimented on the box and said he’d never seen one, but thought it was a great idea to have one. I think everyone should have one, if they have a place for it.It’s very sturdy and has a nice vent on the back of it so things won’t get too hot, I suppose. The lid stays on and won’t blow off. It’s been very windy here several times lately and that’s not happened. Although, it did blow off my porch a couple of times, but I haven’t weighed it down, as suggested yet. It didn’t get any cracks or dings or get scratched up when it rolled about 50 ft. in one windstorm we had. Like I said, STURDY. It also holds lots of packages at Christmastime when there’s more things being ordered and delivered in the same day. It never got completely full in spite of the fact that we have 4 adult children and 5 grandchildren we were ordering for.

This is a great item. I bought for an elderly couple and it's together in box, no assembly. Large -so worth the money.

These are normal Step 2 high quality. If you know the quality of their mailboxes, this is on par. Strong, made in one piece so impossible to come apart and has waterproof lid that's easy open and close. Includes a small vent so your delivery item doesn't get hot. Looks nice at our front gate. The only complaint would be that the small vent should be on the side instead of front or should match the color of item. I ordered a black delivery box and the vent was white. Not a huge deal for us, but something I didn't expect from the pic. Would have also liked the word 'Delivery' in a contrasting color (like white) but this is something a did expect and wasn't a big deal since sturdiness and quality were more important to me. Has all other features I was looking for at a great price. Overall, very pleased.

Large weather proof container is perfect for package delivery. Keeps things dry and prevents packages from blowing away when windy. Since it is light weight, the manufacturer suggests that the box be weighted down to keep it in place. . I put a brick in the bottom of it and that worked well but also thinking of using a wrap around bungy cord since the box is located on my porch and in an area that is subjected to high winds. Therefore, I made sure to weigh it down. Yes the cover design is very secure and the cover remains in place despite the winds.

I'm giving this five stars because there isn't a thing wrong with it. I've had it several years and it is holding up great in our Texas heat. Sadly, it rarely gets used. For some odd reason, the few times it does get used it's for a really heavy box that's a pain to get out. I've tried moving it to different places. Currently it is partially blocking my door and sitting on the edge of my welcome mat. You can see from the photo how well that's working for me. But hey- at least I won't have to bend over to get this package off the ground. Ha!

This box is huge & durable. I'm adding hinges so the lid will flip up. Making it easier for the drivers and keep the wind from taking the lid. I dropped a block in the bottom as well to keep it from moving. Perfect to sit on the porch or by the mailbox for large pkgs. I got it to make life easier for my amazing delivery ppl. They do enough running & jumping through hoops for entitled needy ppl. It's going by the road so they can drop it and go.
