Perfect scent
I absolutely love this Santal essential oil. The scent is warm, smooth, and calming without being overpowering. It gives my space a clean, cozy vibe and lasts longer than I expected in the diffuser. I’ve tried a few sandalwood-type oils before, but this one smells more balanced and not too synthetic. Just a few drops are enough to fill the room. I liked it so much that I actually recommended it to a friend who was looking for something relaxing for her home, she ended up ordering it too. Definitely a great purchase if you enjoy soft, woody, calming fragrances.

Very nice diffuser scent
When it comes to diffuser oils, I realize everyone is different. A scent I like may not be liked by everyone and vise versa. I liked the scent of this diffuser oil. It was warm, smooth, and not overpowering. It fills the room well and has a clean, calming fragrance however you need to make sure you don't have something else in the room putting out a scent (like a plug in for example). When using it in a diffuser, a little goes a long way, which I appreciate. This bottle will last a very long time even with daily use. That said, the oil itself is very thin, and I’ve noticed the bottle tends to leak when pouring. When I opened it to smell it, somehow it got all over my hands and on the counter. The bottle isn't squeezable so I have no idea how it happened. Figured it was just something I did wrong, but then when I went to put some in the diffuser, somehow it got all over my hands again. Might be due to how thin it is. Same consistency as water. But, it’s manageable if you’re careful when opening the bottle and using the oil. Overall, it’s a good-quality oil with a great scent, but the bottle design keeps it from being a full five stars.

Nice fragrance without being overpowering. Nice big bottle!
I like the smell of this fragrance oil. It is much more subtle than many other essential oils that I have tried. It has scents of wood and florals, and when I smell it I think of walking through the woods in the spring when the blooms are open. I don't think it's a "pure" essential oil, but rather a mixture of essential oils and fragrances blended with oil. I need to note that the bottle specifically says NOT to use this directly on your skin. It says to avoid contact with eyes and skin, and use externally only. It is suggested to use it in a diffuser. I use a diffuser every day, both at home and at work. This is a nice fragrance to use in a diffuser, but it is not very strong. If you like something subtle, this may be the one for you. Personally, I use many "pure" essential oils, where a small drop or two in my diffuser is plenty to fill the room for the day. I would have to use quite a bit more of this oil to get the same effect. It has a very large opening and does not have a reducer on the end that allows you to pour this oil one drop at a time. It would be easy to pour a tablespoon or more at one time with just one tip of the bottle. I included pictures of this bottle alongside a Young Living essential oil bottle, so that you can see the size difference, and also the difference in the openings. As I mentioned earlier, the bottle specifically says to NOT use this on your skin. However, I use some essential oils directly on my skin, and I did not hesitate to try this one on my skin. I had absolutely no irritation of any kind from putting this on my skin. However, that may not be the case for everyone else! I use this mixture as a perfume, rubbing it on my arms and neck rather generously, and it is not too strong or overpowering. It has an oily base, and insted of trying to pour it, I put my index finger into the bottle opening up to my second knuckle, and then rub the oil from my finger onto my neck and inner arms. When I'm done, I rub my hands to spread any residual oil and it moisturizes my hands. I would also use this oil in my bathtub, both for the aromatherapy and also for the soothing oil properties to nourish my skin. But I cannot recommend this as it goes against the manufacturer's warning!

Too strong for my nose
Summer Wind: Reviewing fragrances is always tricky because I truly think everyone experiences scents in different ways. I will review this from the standpoint of someone who is sensitive to strong fragrances. If it is overpowering, my nose knows and will start to run like I have a cold. It's no fun to be sensitive to scents because I love to use candles, essential oils and perfumes. I just have to be careful to pick out ones that do not overpower my nose. I have a small rechargeable essential oil diffuser that I got on Amazon a few months ago (and I LOVE it). It has a small bottle that you can fill with your choice of oil and you can set it on high, medium or low mist settings. I filled the little bottle with Summer Wind and set the diffuser on medium and put it in a big room. About ten minutes later, my husband, who had been outside in the garage, came inside. His first impression was, "Oh! What is that smell? I like it. It smells sort of outdoorsy." Now within ten minutes, I already knew that the scent was too strong for me, but I didn't say anything to him, I just kept the diffuser going. He went into the bedroom and came back about five minutes later. His comment then was, "Ohhh, hold on. That is way too strong." I turned off the diffuser and that was that. This is a very strong, perfumey scent. If you are a fan of bold scents, this might work for you. If you are sensitive to scents - I would pass this one by. The sales listing says that this scent has top notes of green tea, orange, lemon zest; heart notes of lemongrass and jasmine and base notes of lily, amber and musk. THAT IS A LOT OF NOTES. I love lemon, orange and citrus smells but I could not detect them in this oil. It was just very overpowering. That is one of the problems buying a scent you haven't tried before online. Sometimes your nose can't warn you before purchase.
