Mine came both in a box, they have a long handle but the brush cleaner portion itself is tiny and small and the rubber bristles are short and stubby not long and flexible like I was picturing so it doesn’t get into small crevices very well

Q: Can this fit in a very narrow bottle? As in with a neck as narrow as a wine bottle?

No . not unless the opening is about 1 inch. it will not fit in the wine bottles i have

Q: Do these brush cleaners actually clean and sanitize your bottles?

They are nice for cleaning bottles but they do not sanitize what you are cleaning. They stay more bacteria free themselves compared to regular bottle brushes. That is what I understood in the description anyway. They are a small scrubber so with the long handle they fit nicely into small areas and openings.
