The book was written in a very succinct, straight to the point way. I appreciate all the recommendations and advice she offers. I never stopped networking for business in- person, and it was encouraging to find out that she recommends this form of self-promotion when starting a cleaning business. This is a must read.I haven't read the negative reviews here, but, hey, nobody is gonna hold your hand or give you a step by step, nor should they...If you want to build a business, visualize it, research it, learn the basics, start it and learn and adjust as you go.

Very informative. I picked up several new things to think about. Very good information on dealing with special requests from clients. Also on how to handle difficult client's.

The ideas are simple. Never put it down cause it was easy to read. Took about 2 hours. Writing was very directed towards women, which is understanding but there are men out there that clean.

Wendy gives you step by step instructions and resources to get up and running in no time! She even gives you ideas for marketing your business and getting that word of mouth customer base started quickly and get your client list going! The book is a easy read and can be finished in just a few hours. I would recommend this book to those who are on the fence about initiating their new cleaning business as it gets you up and running , in a professional manner, in no time at all!

After 25 years in the corporate world, I was searching for a different career path. I've always loved cleaning and organizing but never thought I could make a decent living at it. Wendy's story is inspirational as much as motivational. She describes clearly and concisely the basics steps to start off your house cleaning business. I myself am in the process of re-establishing my own cleaning business after a 6 year hiatus in behind a desk job in the boring and uncertain corporate world. Like Wendy I too clean homes for about 10 years, left to try new endevourse but quickly realized this is what I wanted to do. Her introduction about the benefits of becoming your own boss is spot On!
