ZMart Fun II Digital Chess Clock with Colored Case - GREEN/GREEN

I've had these clocks for over a year now and they've been great. These clocks are used in a school setting. They are used by heavy hands. They get used often. They sit firmly on the table and have not been dropped. Batteries have been replaced once on some of them. I have a total of 6 of these in different colors (blue, green, black and pink). I wish they had more colors. Red. Yellow. Orange. Those colors would be nice to have. These chess clocks are sturdy, solid, and tough. Easy to use. Easy to read. Great overall chess clock. I would recommend these chess clocks for any club.

I've bought many of these digital clocks. They're inexpensive and work as well as clocks that cost three times more. The problem lies in the on-off switch. If you have a tendency to turn your clock on and off between games to reset it, eventually the switch, due to gravity will sink inward until it comes loose from the inside and falls into the clock. Chess players who aren't aware of this anomaly will ruin the clock quickly if they keep pushing the on /off switch. To avoid this situation, never use the on / off switch unless you're turning on the clock. Avoid using the on / off switch as much as possible and the clock should last.

In the middle of a five minute game. The clock would decide to reset itself back to 5 minutes at some point during the game. Frustrating. Some days would work correctly then would act up again. I even bought new batteries .... that did not work. I would not recommend this chess clock.

Working properly. Hard to set time.

I purchased this for a special occasion for a chess lover in my life. Functionally the clock works well and was easy to get used to, but the appearence was not as nice as the pictures. The colored plastic casing seemed so thin and flimsy, and I was a bit worried while installing the batteries (not included) that it may break. For the price I was disappointed with the quality of this product.

purchased as a Christmas gift for my chess player grandson...this is the one he requested.

When the ad showed a green clock and said it came with a green case, I thought "case" meant a bag or pouch. I was fooled. Case only meant that the outer housing was green. Also, I find the clock hard to program although it seems to work well once it is set.
