What an improvement over the shoulder carry-bag that comes with the Inogen unit !! The backpack isn't overwhelming in size, it's the size of a handbag, it even has a strap for carrying the unit by hand . It's made of stout light-colored canvas, which is good, as I live in the hot desert. There's the right amount of padding where it rests on my back. The shoulder straps adjust simply. The waist and chest straps are easily removed, I have no plans for trekking with it. The oxygen tube comes out of the side of the bag, just under the shoulder- so I run a very small length of tubing from it to my nose. That way I'm not draped in tubing and getting tangled up in unneeded length. I just fold the extra into one of the side pockets (buttoned), so I still have 7 feet available if I want to take off the pack and use it on a couch or dinner table, (It stands up by itself.) I use the other (draw-stringed) pocket to carry a water bottle. There's a good-sized zip-up pocket inside the backpack, I guess it'd be useful for carrying some i.d., money, and maybe a phone- to be completely hands-free. The Inogen unit loads into a zippered closure on the bottom- that way there's no fear of it sliding/falling out if I bend way forward to pick up something (cat) from the floor. The top has a sewn-in heavy-duty clear flap, so changing my Inogen unit settings doesn't require opening anything up. A smart buy for me, with no buyer's remorse. Great value.

I have an Inogen G3 POC. This backpack is much easier to carry around than the original carry bag. PRO's: Less weight on shoulder, more evenly distributed. Much more flexible in getting around with it. Seems lighter carrying it as well. Well made. Sturdy. Nice pockets. Inogen G3 fits well. Canula port lines up perfectly. CON's: The charging port hole does not line up well, but it does work. It doesn't stand on it's own quite as well as the original carry bag. The vinyl see-through on the flap seems kind of stiff, a bit more difficult to push the correct buttons. All in all, minor issues to deal with in order to have the flexibility and portability of such easy carry. Pro's far outweigh the cons!! I would definitely recommend it. Having carried it for a few weeks now I have received a lot of compliments on it and fellow POC users have expressed a lot of interest in it. I've also had several people comment on how good it looks!

For one-the picture is nowhere near the true color. It appears to be a denim\tan and is just a very light tan which shows any and everything. Too many straps for around the chest, over the shoulder, etc. I am only 5'2" and if I use shoulder strap all kinds of straps are dragging on the ground. Nicely constructed. I would not buy again for this price or actually any price.

Nice quality canvas material and external pockets help eliminate need for purse. (I'm a caregiver) The shoulder straps are a bit long when adjusted tightly on my Grandmother-though she is a very slinder lady, and get in the way when purse strap is utilized.

Works great, unit doesn't over heat. Vents well

Bag is well made and rugged. I feel it will hold up great from years of daily wear and tear. I am on a clinical trial that requires the addition of a special device to add nitric oxide to my O2. I had hoped one of the side bags could hold it but the pockets are too small. It has been difficult to find a bag that breathes to hold that device also. I know there are others in this trial that would benefit from such a bag. That being said the total weight of both devices is nearly 22 lbs. The backpack helps tremendous by helping handle the weight as a backpack or slung over one shoulder. Excellent quality and lightweight. One suggestion is handling of the tubing from concentrator to nose get kinked easily. If you make it possible to get a larger area there for moving the tubing it would be perfect. Sometimes it gets caught by the strap handle.
