It is very flavorful and not too sweet, or acidic. It has a nice consistency and not too thick, but thick enough to leave a nice drizzle. I can definitely see how this can be addicting. Just ordered another bottle. YES, HIGHLY recommend.

This stuff is so delicious. I use it on cheese and ice cream. Just buy it, you will love it.

I have never used thick, high-quality balsamic vinegar before. A recipe I made for Thanksgiving called for it (Ina Garten’s Brussels sprouts), so I forked over the money for this bottle and we gave it a try. It made a HUGE difference - the Brussels sprouts were amazing!!!! I have since started using it regularly in my cooking (e.g., chicken Marsala), and it has made a huge improvement in flavor - my kids have even commented on it! I can’t wait to try it on Caprese salad. So glad that I gave this a try - I am sold!

It is mildly sweet, not much vinegar kick if any. I just found the flavor good, but not great.

Perfect thickness, well balanced acidity level. The price isn't bad considering some of the alternatives. I find this brand more cost effective, and it doesn't suffer the so-so flavor and texture of others that are aged the same length of years.

Been buying this for a while. Love the flavor and consistency of the vinegar. I only buy the thick one. I also like that they changed the size of the bottle. Less concern of it tipping over than the tall bottle. .

Taste is good, but not great, thus 2 stars. My complaint is the thickness, or actually the lack of it. This stuff pours like water, and when mixed with high quality EVOO, takes more to fully emulsify and doesn't stick to the salad leaves, texture is basically absent, most of it ends up in the bottom of your bowl! Runs right off, again like water! Not happy with what I consider false advertising in calling it thick, especially at the $30 for 8.5 ounces price! And of course it's not returnable due to being a food item, so I'm just out my money! EDIT: October 2024. Raised the rating one star to three due to the customer service of the selling company. They actually read their product's reviews! They read my above review, contacted me and offered me a full refund. It seemed to take forever to process but I did eventually receive a refund, so thank you for being a proactive company that at least reads reviews and reacts to them!

Nice balsamic, great on salads.
