Well, this is not working for me at all. It is more decorative but not for real use. It is bit tricky to clean as it has a rough surface, and while I clean it pieces come off from the side. My cloth gat black after cleaning. It is not the best quality. It looks nice on the table. But still I will not use it.

Love these mats. Very good value for money and look superb on the table. No chips or faults even though slate can be fragile. They clean easy with just water

Ok for the price. Mark very easily. Water stains remain if air drying, unless wiping whole slate with very wet sponge or cloth and drying thoroughly. Flakes of slate can fall of the edges. Solid though and remain in place, won't slide around table.
