Didn’t know they made stiff versions

Product is nice and great design esp. for clean up. BUT WTF! It took me 45 min to get the packing sticker off. Like everything they make a great product and screw up the small stuff. I'll have to soak the think in turpentine to get the glue off. The sticker came off in 100 pieces and left a tough to remove adhesive backing on the SS piece. Knuckle-heads. If I had 5 guys working for me it would cost me 3 hours in labor to have them remove the sticker and adhesive the cost of the tool just increased by 200%.

When I showed my husband the item I bought he said, "wow you spent that much?" However, I made the decision to spend this much because I believe in "buy it once and buy it right." Well in this case that is exactly what this product is. Buy it once, spend a little more up front and get a product you can keep forever. My husband said it's the best putty knife he has ever used and that it really feathers the edges nicely. He has been using it on an area where there was significant damage and the wall had to be built up and leveled at the same time. He said it's made all the difference and his job is a lot easier with this knife. Spend the money. You often get what you pay for.

Great blades but why on earth do they put a big sticker over the blade, leaves a residue that is extremely hard to get off before you can actually use it

These will last if you take care of them.

Definitely solid welded stainless. Haven’t used yet Seem really good product. , if not for a snow storm would already been used.

Rust after 2 weeks

Gutes Produkt. Aber der Griff ist für Kinderhände. Hier wurde am Material gespart. Andere Hersteller sind hier zwar teurer aber wenigstens kann man den Spachtel besser halten

As long as you don't use your 6" like a chisel on anything, except scratching coats & Use the side of blade to scratch beads back. you'll have a potential lifelong friend. (using this 6" model for now) . I cannot fault it, the flex is awesome. the solid handle helps knocking felt and plugs back in with ease, and it won't break like plastic handle ones. That's particularly why i went with this blade. solid. . Would recommend if your not a butcher :P

Very nice easy to use and strong

I had some reservations about purchasing drywall knives online as I like to inspect the edge in store for any imperfections. I was pleasantly surprised that each knife had a protective plastic covering, and all three knives meet my professional standard for finishing. These Hyde knives have a nice flex and comfortable handle. I’m sure they will preform well based on my initial observations. I appreciate the solid one piece construction as well, knowing it will be more durable and easy to clean. I recommend this retailer.
