SUper-LOw-FRIction (SULOFRI) high-tech stick-on dance soles are a revolutionary product that allows dancers to pivot and slide with ease on even the stickiest dance floors. Such floors include concrete or asphalt surfaces at outdoor dance events, extremely sticky dance floors in bars or nightclubs, and most types of carpet.
All SULOFRI components are backed by 3M's 300LSE industrial-strength adhesive. Thanks to that adhesive backing, SULOFRI components can be easily attached to existing suede or leather-soled dance shoes, flat-soled street shoes, most high-heeled shoes, and flat-soled exercise shoes. As pictured and offered in this listing, the main SULOFRI component is a 3-inch outer disk, and, within it, a perforated 2-inch inner disk made of the same material as the outer disk. This configuration is for dancing on concrete and asphalt. The inner disk can be replaced by a separately available soft inner disk (which can be found by entering "SULOFRI-SD" in the Amazon search box). With the soft inner disk, SULOFRI is suitable for dancing on very sticky indoor floors and on carpet.

WARNING: This product is intended to substantially reduce friction of dance shoes on rough outdoor floors like concrete and asphalt. Walking or dancing on smooth and clean tile, wood, or other hard floors while wearing this product dramatically increases the risk of slipping and falling. Walking on wet or slippery floors when wearing this product can be almost as hazardous as walking on ice with regular shoes.
These SUper-LOw-FRIction (SULOFRI) high-tech stick-on soles can be attached to the existing soles of most dance shoes, street shoes, and flat-soled exercise shoes, to reduce friction on high-friction (sticky) dance floors. The SULOFRI kit allows dancers to pivot with ease on extremely high-friction dance floors such as concrete and asphalt. SULOFRI can also be configured for dancing on extremely sticky indoor floors, by replacing the hard inner of the default configuration (as provided in this listing) by an optional, separately purchased soft disk component. Soft inner disks are available on Amazon and can be found by entering "SULOFRI-SD" in the Amazon search box. SULOFRI is made of a space-age material with super-low friction properties. SULOFRI is the only dance sole that works real well on concrete and asphalt. Indeed, on those difficult surfaces pivoting with SULOFRI-equipped shoes feels almost the same as pivoting with suede soles on well-maintained wood floors. We here at Sole2dance are ourselves avid dancers and spent more that six years identifying and then testing the SULOFRI material at countless outdoor dance events. Although there are other materials that can reduce friction almost as well as SULOFRI, those other materials feel hard and rigid under the dancer's feet, not soft and compliant as SULOFRI and suede do. However, the pleasantly soft feeling provided by SULOFRI soles comes at a price: the soft SULOFRI material wears down quickly on highly abrasive surfaces like asphalt or concrete. Active dancers can wear out their SULOFRI components in as little as 6 hours of dancing on rough concrete (actual wear rate depends strongly on surface, dance style, and the dancer's weight).
