I recently purchased the Certified Refurbished Echo Show 5 (2nd Gen, 2021 release) in black, and it has exceeded my expectations! Initially, I was a bit skeptical about buying a refurbished device, but this Echo Show 5 looks and performs like new.Pros:Compact and Stylish Design: The 5.5" screen is the perfect size for a bedside table, kitchen counter, or desk. It’s compact but still provides a great viewing experience for quick video clips, recipes, or video calls.Impressive Sound Quality: For a small device, the sound is surprisingly clear and balanced. It’s ideal for listening to music, audiobooks, or podcasts.Alexa Integration: The Alexa functionality works flawlessly, responding quickly to commands. Having it on a screen adds an extra layer of convenience, like visually checking the weather or managing my calendar.Privacy Controls: It’s nice that Amazon included a physical camera shutter, which makes me feel more comfortable using it in various rooms.Cons:Limited Video App Options: While it handles Amazon Prime Video well, there are limited options for other streaming services, so it’s not a full entertainment device.Charging Cable Length: The cable is a bit short if you’re setting it up far from an outlet.Overall, I’d highly recommend this Certified Refurbished Echo Show 5 if you’re looking for a multifunctional smart device without the hefty price tag of a brand-new one. I have mixed feelings about the product -- Device setup is very easy (5*)- Alexa's response time is good (5*)- Smart device integration works well (4*)- Display and audio are ok (3*)- UI is very slow (2*)- Camera cannot work unless you give microphone permission to Alexa application on your phone (1*)- Although they have JioSaavn integration but that doesn't work well. You need Prime membership for a good experience. (2*)At this point I am thankful that I did not got for a brand new product. It is value for money at 2.3k.

Got a new product, loved the sound quality similar to echo 3rd gen. Alexa is responsive too like earlier generations.. Playing videos on YouTube is a pain as it's played on browser..

Seems buggy,not sure if that's because it's a refurbished device or if it's the particular model

The media could not be loaded. This is very nice but it is not playing songs I want to listen at least is not playing any song

One of my best purchase for 2024, my kids just love it and it's the best thing that works as commited, although the speed is little slow compared to other new ones but it's okay for me as am not going to use it that often ..
