Just what it is supposed to be...
Since this part tends to wear fairly fast, the replacement is a bit too expensive and way too hard to find, but the BOSCH machine is to blame for this. Replacement and shipment were OK

Original Bosch replacement pad
For £15, it had certainly breathed new life to my Bosch PE300 AE orbital sander. The delivery was quick and straightforward. Item arrived in the Bosch packaging. Ensure you have the correct set of screw bit ie star type TT20 size to fit. Unscrew the existing and place the new pad back to its original position. Tighten the 4 screws and ready to rock! It grips the sand papers like claws. Very happy with the purchase and the product. Also very pleased with how easy it is to replace.

Poor Product Be Warned- I Was But Did Not Listen..!!
Waste of money. I bought this pad as a replacement for my Bosch PEX400. After about 30 minutes of use, the sanding disc flew off. I brushed away dust from the pad and tried again. I noticed the Bosch sanding disc was not strongly gripped by the pad. I switched on the sander and about 5 minutes later the disc flew off again The original Bosch pads do not hold the sanding disc for long. Product not recommended and will be returned for a refund.

Works perfectly
Had a pad that kept flinging off the sanding sheets. Replaced it with this and learnt not to push hard on it when sanding and the sheets stick like glue to it!!
