a really good question. It didn’t fit my 2000’s Kenmore canister. I should have returned it, didn’t know yet how easy it is on Amazon.

The outside dimension of the attachment measures 1.5", and it fits a hose with an inside dimension of 1.5"- or a hose of some other size that has a cuff that has that inside dimension.

Q: Is this a durable crevice tool?

Yes. It is the same material as original tools.
