Q: Is the desk portable? Does it "slide" easily?

The desk isn’t that heavy per say but I wouldn’t want to move it around much. It does raise and drop easily.

Q: I know this gives the option for standing but for sitting can you put a keyboard tray on it?

I believe that a keyboard tray could be mounted to the underside of the tabletop. I think it is possible but actually, since I didn't do that with mine, I don't have first-hand knowledge.

Q: how much weight can this support and ho many boxes does this come in?

This comes in one box. It is heavy. As far as amount of weight it can support, what ever the listed manufacturers weight limit is would be a good start. The page that shows the description lists the max weight supported as 180 lbs. I am not going to test it and see. The table is very sturdy as far as we can tell.

Q: Does the table top come in one piece or two pieces?

The tabletop is one piece. To be clear: the complete desk does require assembly of several parts; it does not arrive fully assembled. The desk legs are stationary; they do not fold up.
