Beschreibung
• Tulip 'Rem's Favourite' is bred to look like a classic Rembrandt tulip with purple and green veining over white - but really it's a strong-growing, long-flowering modern type. Over the years, I've been on the look out for several very unusual and hard to find spring-flowering tulip varieties, and this is one of them - these are not for planting on masse, but for having just a few to enjoy looking at in your garden.
• Grow this variety in containers or in the direct soil in groups. They make a huge impact when planted in a sunny position and the sunlight strikes the pure-white petals. Excellent Cut Flower
• Plant bulbs in well dug soil about 8-10cm deep and approx 15cm apart. It is often beneficial to use a little bone-meal or super phosphate mixed in with the soil.
• Cultural Instructions After the tulips have bloomed and when leaves fade and turn brown the bulbs can be lifted, dried, cleaned and stored in a cool place until planting time.
Viridis Hortus offers discounted postage costs for multiple purchases - you only pay one postage price regardless of the mix of varieties or quantities of packets you purchase per order UK only:
