HOT Dog Candy

Worst Candy flavor EVER! Best Gag gift idea! It's a win win. Get it for the person you hate, or at least for the person you want to see throw up- cause they will. They even smell revolting. Your friends will love you, then they will hate you. These are really a fun gift idea. Not a great value, but you don't do these kinds of gifts for the value!

I got this for a friend who loves hotdogs and candy, so what could be more perfect, right? First of all I was surprised by the size of the tin. Although very cute, it is very little. She was excited to see what was inside. When she opened the tin, the smell was awful. Can’t even describe it. But she opened one up and put it in her mouth. The look on her face said it all. She gave it a chance but ended up spitting it out. Said it was the nastiest thing she’s ever tasted, tasting nothing like hotdogs!

The smell when you open the wrapper is like dog food. Out of 12 pieces we gave to folks at work, only 2 were able to finish theirs. Most folks spit them in the trash after a few seconds. The smell is worse than the flavor, tastes like a spoonful of hambuger helper seasoning or what I imagine drinking the water out of a can of vienna sausages would taste like. When you eat one, everyone near you can smell it.

I got these as a joke for my husband. They smell horrific. We all had a good laugh and then they went in the garbage. I was surprised by the size, it’s a super small tin, not that anyone would ever want more of this.

Apparently the person who mixed the flavoring has never eaten a hot dog, or at lease not any hot dog I would want to eat. Tastes NOTHING like a hot dog, and actually makes me a little queasy after I eat one of the candies. Oh well, I pretty much bought it for the container anyway, but if you're looking for hot dog flavored candy, look elsewhere.
