Easy to set up and install/wire. Works well but not overly sensitive.
Easy to install and set up, can be added to a non motion light to make it motion sensing. My fixture only had Dawn/Dusk function, but I didn’t need the light on all night so I added this.

Lasted Four Months, But Customer Support Reached Out
This device replaced a Defiant model that had been in place outdoors for the past 12 years. It was easy to install using existing wiring. Easy to set up sensitivity and time on duration.After 4 months of use, I noticed it would not turn off at night unless its associated wall switch was turned off. Adjusting it made no difference. Had to replace it.UPDATE: Changing this to four stars after customer support reached out and offered a refund for a defective product. Apparently, there is a two-year warranty. We had not kept product documentation to pursue the warranty. Lesson in keeping docs next time. Thank you, Treewell!

Worked for a couple weeks..
Product stopped working after 2 weeks. Worked at first , but now motion detector allows lights to come on at dusk and remain on all night without shutting off.

Nice Motion Detection Unit
This is a simple and functional motion detection unit. It is fairly easy to install and works fine except the following.Installaion: Is easy and simple to install except the screw threads on the sensor stem that goes in the hole of the junction box do not go all the way down to the base of the sensor stem. So it is impossible to secure the sensor without putting SEVERAL washers on the stem to cover the gap.Sensitivity; The sensitivity on the side of the sensor is lot more sensitive than in the center. At the lowest sensitivity, the center picks up motion at about 8-10 feet, but on the sides it goes to over 30 feet. So it is a challenge to adjust the sensor so it does not get triggered from the cars travelling on the road in front of the house.Duration: The time setting is off by quite a bit. at 1 minute setting, the light stays on for almost the twice the time.If you can live with these shortcomings, it works fine. I have only had this for few weeks, so I cannot comment on the durability and reliability. But it seems pretty sturdy and well made.
