I am going to try to be as fair as possible with this review. First of all, it solved the problem I bought it for. My employer bought me a new laptop with a 16 inch screen. Nothing i had, other than my briefcase would hold it, and with needing to travel al over the country I needed something that was more ergonomic than fashionable. And the laptop fits in the bag securely. It is also large enough to live out of for a week at a time. Something I learned to appreciate in a previous life. It is also tough enough to handle pretty much anything you could throw at it. Now, the problems. First, the pockets, specifically the access to those pockets is horrible. Bring a flashlight, you are going to need it. I spent at least an hour a day digging for stuff, convinced I lost it, and then finding it later. Second, there are not enough pockets. A dedicated file pocket would be appreciated, ad would a water bottle pocket. Having complained about how few pockets there are, I am now going to ask them to get rid of the pocket on the shoulder strap. What the heck is supposed to fit in there??? And the water proof pocket, Nice idea, too bad at least once a day in light use the zipper opens up and the empty dry compartment inverts and bangs against my knees. If it had had anything in it, this would have been a serious issue. As for the giant rings on the back, mostly I used those as a handle to maneuver the back pack around when it was not slung. I would not buy this bag again. I bought it on prime day and I got it for about half price. At that price I would not buy it again, either. If they offered a new pack fixing some of these issues, I would take a cautious look.

After a year of carrying daily , i still love the look and size of this bag . I also like that it blends in while also standing out if that makes sense . If i had one complaint if would be better / wider straps . As much as i love the bag , i would not pay the going price for it . Its simply not worth the everyday going price in my opinion . Yes its an over built bag and that in itself a good thing . The fact that it carries oakley badges means you gonna pay extra for it which is to be expected ... catch it on sale or look at other bags in its price range . For 2.5 hundy it is a bit pricy , i caught it 40 % off .
