I loved this book. The pictures are incredible. The interviews are eye opening and well written. I am rereading it to pick up anything I missed the first time.There is a picture of Michael before any plastic surgery that is breathtaking. It is in black and white and although he doesn't seem happy in it his true beauty shines through. It is too bad that he never saw that beauty for himself.

I really like this book it has great pictures that i had never seen before but the story's inside not so much this is suppose to be a tribute to Michael and how he changed the music industry and was one of the best singers and performers of all time but in the reviews they only really talk about the bad stuff Michael did or went through instead of good,positive things that happened in his lifetime and career so yes i would recommend for the pictures but i don't for the reviews i don't read the story's inside about Michael anymore i always skip those pages and just look at the pictures i'm sure other MJ fans will as well

The King!This book is a beautiful tribute to Michael Jackson, a legend.Imitated but never duplicated.

What actually can you say about this beautiful book of colorful pictures of a legend of pop music, that we can still enjoy.

Most of the pitures in the book were nice, but there were no new pictures that I had not seen before. Also, while I was skimming through the book, I was disappointed to see that some of the information presented in the book was not accurate. For a fact, Michael's Thriller album has sold 110 million copies worldwide at the latest count, but this book states it has sold presently over 50 million copies worldwide (Don't they know Michael did receive the Dimond Award for his Thriller album having surpassed the 100 million mark at the World Music Awards of 2006 when it had sold 104 million copies as of 2006?). The book again understates the number of his Invinsible albums sold: it states the album only sold 2 million copies when in fact, it sold a still astounding 10 million copies worldwide despite the lack of promtion at that time. I know for a fact that all his albums (Off the Wall, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous and HiStory) except for Blood on the Dance Floor and Invincible (still, Blood on the Dance Floor set a record as the best selling remix album of all time with global sales of over 6 million copies) are among the top selling albums in the world and as we all know, his Thriller still remains the top selling album of all time. His HiStory album also set a record for the best selling double album of all time with sales of over 20 million copies worldwide. This inaccuracy really bothered me and I felt that they were constantly trying to belittle Michael's incomparable achievements. They also state that Michael proclaimed himself the King of Pop, which we all know is not true. Actually, in my opinion the King of Pop title is not big enough for him. He was and is simply the greatest entertainer that ever lived. I am returning the book as I do not wish to add this to my Michael jackson collection. Very biased and inaccurate...Rolling Stone...I should have known better. Please don't waste your money on this.

Great pictures. Love Michael. Unsure what the text is like as I havent read too much of it.. realy dislike reading about all the troubles.. the pictures are fabulous....

Didn't come in the best Condition, but then it is second hand. I didn't mind and was Happy with the outcome of this Book!

da dieses buch von den herausgebern des rolling stone ist, hoffte ich es würde kein fehlkauf sein. dies war es auch nicht. hier wird sehr tiefgründig michaels talent und tragödie besprochen, was mich an einigen stellen sehr bewegt hat. einziges problem: die englische sprache, es handelt sich um eher gehobenes englisch, man sollte hier über gute kenntnisse verfügen. ansonsten top buch, in liebevoller aufmachung mit fundierten texten und tollen fotos!!!die einleitung ist unter anderem von will i am von den black eyed peas.

Ein Augenschmaus und Lesevergnügen für jeden Fan und für Alle, die sich für Musikgiganten interessieren.Was für kalte Wintertage am Kamin!

Eines DER Bücher über MJ, die auf angenehme Weise verschiedene Stationen seines Lebens und seiner Karriere beschreibt.Ich würde es mir wieder kaufen!
