I am still getting used to this knife. It is very heavy but it is balanced. I am left handed but this is the first time I actually have a left handed knife. It takes getting used to.

It comes with nice leather like case that you can snap and secure which is great because it's sharp. Cuts through veggies and meat like butter, I was surprised at how well it slices and so smooth. Great purchase.

Sharpest knife I have ever used.

When I unpacked the knife I wasn't impressed at all. For me the blade looks really cheap with the black dotty design on it. It has a good weight and it cuts decently but it is not too sharp. It already struggles with tomatoes. The handle lies good in hand - that's a pro. The sheath is from cheap PU leather.I have used expensive chef knives from great quality in my kitchen and this one is not even comparable. But for the price I honestly didn't expect that it would be more than an average knife you can buy at W**mart.It is okay, but I wouldn't refer it to someone.

I ordered this knife for my husband for Christmas. It came on time and the quality of the knife is amazing. He absolutely loves this knife and plans on using it a lot.

I had be searching for a second bread knife, sharper and better quality. This is it. Obviously you can spend a lot of money on knives and own some beautiful pieces honed by skilled craftsmen. I cook but I am not a chef. I like bread and bagels and want a sharp knife that will last longer than the big box store knife set version. This is it. So far it does what I want too with an effortless stroke through most loaves and bagels. Good quality and good value. Recommended

This is a all-purpose knife. It's total length is 12.2 inches, and the blade length is 7.3 inches. It is made with high carbon steel, full tang, great balance and a flat spine. It comes with a cleaning cloth and a beautiful simple leather sheath that is well sewn and reinforced with rivets. It is called a boning knife, or osteotomy knife. (I had to look up what that means, and it means to surgically remove bones.) I don't know about any of that, because I am using this as a multi-purpose camping knife. It has a wonderful sharp edge and being high carbon steel will be easy to throw a spark. It has great balance and weight. I'm not particularly fond of the textured part, but that's okay as it adds to the interest. I'm pretty sure you could safely baton with this if you wanted to. It is a little long to be an EDC knife, but other than that, it would work perfectly. You could cut vegetables with this knife, and also butcher small game. I cannot speak to the culinary aspects of this knife, other than it is easy to sharpen and holds a sharp edge. This is a handsome knife of excellent quality and I am happy to have it!
