Rhett & Link Present: The Mythical Cookbook: 10 Simple Rules for Cooking Deliciously, Eating Happily, and Living Mythically

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, with its fun little quips and unique pictures, along with funny side notes and stories. But, I also genuinely enjoyed the recipes. I’ve only made 2 of the recipes so far: Baconator Soft Pretzels, and the Orange Chicken Parm. But, both recipes, taste wise, turned out phenomenally! The recipes are easy to follow, with clear instructions, without being overtly simplified. I am an avid baker and enjoy cooking, as well. The recipes seem to be tailored to every person, no matter their cooking abilities. I’m so excited to try more recipes in the book!

This cookbook has the perfect mix of easy recipes, fun twists on classics and adventurous food! I love that it has everything from pancakes, links grumpy man smoothie, pizza crunchwraps, an entire section of bacon recipes and of course your adventurous eating section like cricket meatballs! It also has sections for appetizers, meals for your family like easy lasagna recipes or slapping together a frozen pizza sandwich! This book is truly amazing And has so much thoughts, personality, and character behind it! All the words in the book are written with joshes fun personality! Saying things like, “Heel Strike that Garlic!” Or “Flop those egg whites in there!”. Truly a wonderful cookbook and has background stories and behind the scenes notes throughout the whole cookbook. I love the photos and imagery too, my mouth is truly watering! This isn’t one of those cookbooks that you just flip through and say meh… I actually sat down and looked at every page and still haven’t even read half of it! As a 12 year long fan of GMM I am so proud of this cookbook! I’ll be displaying it on my dinning room table. I can tell how much hard work went into this and the price is absolutely worth it!

I absolutely needed to know how to make a chicken sandwich with Flaming Hot Cheetos. It was amazing. I loved it so much I bought the book for myself and as an awesome birthday gift (with sandwich) for my brother. This is an excellent gift for people who love to be inventive in the kitchen. It’s filled with colorful language (truly hilarious) and food mashups you have never imagined but wished you did. I can’t wait to share these recipes with friends and family. Go see for yourself and eat well. Go. But get the book first and a few copies to hand out.

If you just want the recipes, this is full of inventive twists on dishes you’ve known for years (the Thai Green Curry Enchiladas are the first on my personal to-make list). If you’re invested in Mythical, this is full of the personality and soul that has come to define their brand over the years. And if you just like books, Josh’s writing style makes for a genuinely engaging page-turning book of writing that allows you into the love of food and creativity that makes this book possible.Make the recipes and log the book on Goodreads; we all contain multitudes, and I can’t wait to dive into actually making this food.

I was soooo excited to gift this book for Christmas!! Has so many amazing recipes and other content flowing around. The humor inside is just what I would expect coming from Josh and the team. Recipes are easy to read and allll look delicious!

The book seems a bit damaged by humidity or something, a good chuck of the pages are warped/wavy. Otherwise good/fun cookbook.

My kiddo and I love the show, and my kid 16yr old wanted this for their birthday. We have made so many things. Definitely have some favorites, like the Orange Chicken Parmesan. Chicken Bacon Ranch Bombs and Animal Style Mac n Cheese... yummo!!!
