One of the best pre work drinks

I originally purchased a single can from. B & M at a promotion price, I've tried many of these energy drinks at inflated prices due to being tagged to so called certain celebrities and media promotions, have to say although slightly smaller in size to other brands the overall taste and effectiveness of of sci-mx is proper one of the best as is the taste. Having decided to purchase on a monthly subscription basis this works out at less than £1 for each can which is a bonus Throughly recommend.

These came in a pack of 12, each can is 330ml, which is good and the price for the 12 in my view was not unreasonable. I got these for my two boys, who are both going to the gym to work out and also weight lifting, so having an energy drink before is not a bad idea but in moderation. These ones are excellent, they have the usual taste of energy drinks with the citrulline malate and caffeine, they taste ok, but I do have an issue with the non-sugar label, as they do contain lots of sweeteners, which are probably artificial, so do be weary of this if you want to take this product and have issues with sweet drinks. My two boys do like them and will be using them twice or three times a week, not every day, as I don't think having this much caffeine and the other ingredients is that good for your body. I think these are good value for money and the price point is just right, so if you are looking for energy drinks, these are very good and also made in the UK, which is even better, I am happy to give five stars but the caveat is drink in moderation and only a few time a week.

Good product

At 330ml these are not big cans, which means it's easy to get one down you. The design is bold and loud and they have the contents to match. This is a drink that packs a punch. The full ingredients list is impressively long and I couldn't see it in the product listing, so I'll copy it out here: • 200mg natural caffeine • 3g citruline maleate • 2g glycerol • 2g beta-alanine • 200mg taurine • 330mg green tea extract • 200mg Panax ginseng extract • 16mg vitamin B3 (niacin) • 1.4mg vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) • 10µg vitamin B12 (cobalamin) Wow. You can find a similar mix in other sports and energy drinks but I struggled to find any that manage to deliver so much. So this does feel like a premium drink and I can definitely feel the surge as I head into my workout. It helps me push for extra reps and extra weights, or if doing cardio, to go further and faster. I also notice a mood boost and feel kind of tingly. It all fades away gently without worrying about a 'comedown'. But if you're sensitive to caffeine, you may want to save these for earlier on in the day. I tried the 'Original' flavor, the taste is pleasant and Lucozade-y with a little extra something. Kinda peppery. Probably that's the ginseng. Definitely beats the drinks on offer in my gym's vending machines. Curious about the other flavor now and will order some!

I normally use powder mix pre-workout before the gym on occasion and because of time grabbing a can of energy drink is more preferable. These cans are 330 mil and contain 200 mg of caffeine which is decent for a little cat. I’ve used this companies, BCAA’s Which tasted really good and I had the original flavour of these cans I must say they do have a little bit of an energy drink flavour as it were which means they don’t really taste of anything in particular just chemicals. However on this occasion that’s not actually bad. All in all, if you’re looking for a quick pre-workout drink without having to mix then I can highly recommend these

A twelve pack of drinks cans. These are for drinking pre workout. To give you the energy for it. They come in a cardboard tray. Wrapped up in clear plastic which therefore has to be cut off. This is the kind of thing that retailers normally buy from wholesalers. They are 330ml cans. Which is the same amount of drink as you would get in say a can of coca cola. They are taller and thinner so it might look at first glance as if you don't get so much. But there we are. The ring pull is fixed to the can. It does open very easily. The shape of the can does make it crush easily afterwards. The drink is 200mg natural caffeine. Thus not good for those who don't get on with the stuff, either medically or otherwise. Or pregnant ladies. It says not for kids either. The product listing will tell you in detail the rest of what it's in this. It's an energy drink. So I think it's best described as feeling like something caffeinated. There's no real fizz to it. But you do get the energy kick right off. It's a decent thing to drink, if you like such. Just not the cheapest. But it seems to work, so I will give it four stars for those who are prepared to pay premium, as it will get you a result.

These have such a great flavour, much better than any other energy drink I’ve tried It really gives me the boost of energy i need and find I manage to keep going and give more energy to my workouts than when i do not take this. Highly recommend
