IT REALLY WORKS AWSOME.
This product works better then anything else on the market. I will continue to buy them. Removes hard water from pool tile easily with very little arm power. Tried pumice block would not remove anything no matter how hard I scrubbed. Pool stone does wear away so buy a couple depending on how big your pool is. One other thing is does leave a little bit of gritty stuff on steps so I just had pool service come in and vacuum it out so I did not have to. Please try this it saved me time and money doing it myself instead of paying pool guys.

Stones worked well on build up
We had about 6 months worth of build up thanks to our wonderful Arizona water. We purchased a couple boxes for less than $50.00 and used almost all of the stones to get our tile cleaned up. Worked great and was way cheaper than having someone come out and sand blast for hundreds of dollars. Our pool was installed last summer, so build up happens fast! I read the reviews on these before purchasing. Read one review that said only one stone was used on the entire pool to clean a 12 year build up. Definitely, not the case here. They work pretty well, but we plan on keeping up with the build up this time. Even if I spend $200.00 bucks a year cleaning it myself with these stones, it will be worth my time and money.

melts in your hand not in the pool
I bought the original pool blok, worked great, is $5 a block at Lowes, came home to try it, works great went looking on Amazon for more. I am removing white calcium lines around pool tiles. Can't find the same stuff for same price on amazon, disappointing. Bought this product and wore through one of the three blocks in about 45 seconds of scrubbing, didnt even get through 1 tile !! Must be meant for some other material.

Three Stars
Cleans well but disintegrates rapidly. One block per 3 feet of tile.

Good on tile, OK on grout
Worked great on the tile, so-so on the grout (why I didn't give the full 5 stars). In fairness it had over a year of build up on a salt pool. Did tile line for the whole pool (30x10 ft.) and spa at the water line with one stone, with a sliver left for next time. Most of the build up is off, but a second go-round hopefully will knock it all off.No idea why some reviews say it dissolves: it's supposed to after application and so long as you don't keep it submerged it should happen before you use it.

Great product and easy to use! Wear gloves
Great product! I tried using vinegar and a scrub brush on my pool and it didn’t work Ao I bought this and it worked perfectly! Very little scrubbing required to remove the scale deposits, although it was a little effort to get really in the cracks.Tip: wear gloves! My right hand looks like I scrubbed it with sandpaper for 10 min. Also, sorry for the 2nd pic being a bit dark, the sun was going down when I took it

Direct comparison to Pumice stone PBS-12
I live in central California and my 6"x6" tile had not been cleaned in over a year. I bought the pool stone starter kit ( w/handle) and 3 additional blocks. I also ordered 2 of the PB-12 pumice stones.Today I started with the poolstone product. The handle was a waste of time and money since I had a major build up of crud on my tile. The poolstone ( cost of $6.83 each) cleaned 5 tiles. I used it until I had a small piece, about the size of a quarter) left. Result $1.36 per tile cleaned.I opened a fresh pumice stone block (cost appx $9.00 per block) and began cleaning. I immediately realized the pumice stone was easier and faster. I stopped after 25 tiles and still had over 1/3 of the block left. Result $.24 per tile.I applaud the Eco-friendly efforts of the "recycled glass" poolstone but, like many other "Eco" products, the cost doesn't justify the expense to me.

These Work Well!
I have hard water in my area leading to build up on the tiles of my pool. These blocks are amazing! The white calcium deposits (or whatever it is) came clean with very little effort. It took me 20 minutes to go around the whole pool. I highly recommend this product. It took 1 block to do the whole thing and I have a smaller pool.
