Decent steak knife, very sharp!
This mini katana is pretty cool. I wish there was more detail in the blade but it looks kind of cheap, not a nice detailed look, but it is very sharp and cuts well. The blade is thin but pretty sturdy and the sheath is a perfect fit with smooth transition into the handle. A decent case would have been a nice touch as well instead of a flimsy plastic tray. But, it's a knife and it does it's job well. More function over form.

Very low quality and misleading.
It might work as a letter opener but anything beyond that I would pass. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!When I ordered this knife I was interested in what was presented as M390 steel 62 HRC. M390 is a very high grade of knife steel with high edge retention.HOWEVER, after I set my eyes on the actual product it is obvious that the quality is very poor and the actual use of M390 is highly doubtful. I have never seen a knife even at dollar store or a cheap trinket shop with this poor quality. The blade grind is very poor and irregular (see photo). It is dull and will not even catch on a finger nail held at 90 degrees.I'll be attempting to sharpen this knife and edit this review if successful. If it is actually a higher grade steel it will take a long time and much effort to clean up this edge by hand. If it sharpens relatively quickly it confirms that it is a poorer grade steel and has been misrepresented.Edit: This is NOT M390 nor HRC62. A 750 grit stone (very fine) cut through the rough edge without a problem indicating that this knife will not hold a sharp edge when used. The laser etched M390 HCR62 is clearly false. I've never attempted to sharpen this soft of steel before.I should also point out that the parts that appear to be brass in the photos are either paint or plastic.

Poor build quality, and fake rivets
This is a cheap knife with a poorly made plastic handle and sheath. The blade itself is fine, it's not incredibly sharp but it is sharp enough to cut vegetables and meats with ease. The photos on the product page make it seem like this knife has full tang construction; however, the circles on the handle are painted on, they aren't actual rivets that would secure a full tang knife. The paint is also low quality, and there was noticeable blemishing on parts of the yellow section at the top of the handle. The handle is short, and very uncomfortable due to its solid, hard-plastic squared design. There was also clearly visible blemishes on both the handle and sheath from the plastic manufacturing process.Overall, this is a cheap and disappointing knife, especially for the asking price. It doesn't do anything particularly well, whether in terms of design or functionality. The only redeeming quality is the average cutting edge.

it's a cheap knife
The sheath on this knife is made out of plastic as well as the handle. the blade looks like they used a grinder on it and then smoothed it out with sandpaper. The blade is ok sharpness but is wavy and uneven. If your looking for a letter opener then use this, if you want en edc or a carry knife no not bother.

Katana letter opener
The media could not be loaded. The PAVCEING Mini Katana Knife is more like a mini Katana letter opener than an Outdoor Camping Steak Knife or tactical knife. It's nice and neat looking. Not overly sharp. Not overly impressive in my opinion. It has a good build quality and nice sheath. But generally it feels like a letter opener. As you can see in the video, it does that just fine.I'd be reluctant to use it for outdoor activities. It's small. The handle is also small and seems too small to be useful for outdoors. Not a great grip in the hand do to the size. Maybe some cooking related work, like fruit cutting. But it's not very sharp out of the box so that would be the first order of business.Outside of the cool factor in how it looks, I find it a mediocre knife. Four stars is generous really, more like 3.5.

Works well
This is a small knife that has a pretty sharp blade. I feel like this knife is a good value at its price point.

Does not have the Damascus pattern- looks like stainless steel
This is a well made and solid knife. I like the design except that it would be more user friendly with a small guard. The sheath/case is well made and solid in its own right and together they form a well crafted blade. That being said,The blade does not have any Damascus pattern to it. The blade looks to me as if it were made of stainless steel. The blade edge is wicked sharp and this works great for opening bills. A nice knife, but it does not look like Damascus at all.
