It is essential to avoid cross-pollination in order to obtain single-variety seeds. Chilies and tomatoes are very popular. Wind and flying insects contribute to this. If several varieties are grown outdoors, a minimum distance of 400 meters is necessary.
The undesirable crossbreeds only take effect in the next generation (i.e.: fruits from seeds of the current crop). We invest a great deal of effort to offer single-variety seeds.
