VTech Kidi Star DJ Mixer, Pink

This DJ mixer is absolutely amazing. It looks very cool, has lots of buttons and features, and keeps kids fully engaged. My kids were instantly excited and love playing with it. The controls are fun and interactive, the design is eye-catching, and the sound quality is surprisingly good for a kids’ toy. It really feels like you’re getting a lot for the price. Great value for money and a fantastic toy for kids who love music and interactive play. Highly recommend.

Awesome musical toy to help kids(and adults) express musical talent. Easy to use and excel. Bluetooth connection for sound on phone or speakers. Love the lights and the size to move easily.

This is legitimately a very cool toy. You can mix music in lots of different styles, from techno to hip hop to chill pop, and with the recording functions, there are so many options. The disco lights are fun for my kiddo too. It’s held up well to lots of play, has good sound quality for Vtech toy, and has seen more playtime then just about any of my 8-year-old’s other toys. She loves to have dance parties with her friends, taking turns being the DJ. A well-designed toy with lots of great musical options and (thankfully) a volume control.

Great quality and value. My son loves this and it keeps him entertained for a while. I would recommend this product.

If you're considering buying this and the price isn't an issue for you, just buy it. Bought because my 3 year old daughter loves music and dancing, and she's really into "Loop Daddy" Marc Rebillet who live loops his own improvised music... I knew she's prob too young to really understand how to use it. It's immediately become a source of entertainment for the whole family, well worth the price. Once she saw me playing with it, she was interested. She loves recording her own voice and was able to learn how to do that pretty quick, which has been a lot of silly fun. This thing is loaded with some legit bops in a variety of styles. It's fun even for me and my wife to put together a song we enjoy and my daughter loves dancing to it. 3 things I don't like (that shouldn't stop anyone from buying this!): 1. The actual turntable function thing is pretty unsatisfying. Between the lackluster sounds, the way it doesn't interact with the song, and just the inability to make the sound work well with any song is frustrating. 2. The main buttons can't/don't work as a sound sound machine during the two main modes. The way they work in the academy mode is what I was expecting to be possible in the other modes but I don't see how to do that. 3. The installed vocals are actually coolish, buuuut if you push the tempo of the music, the vocal speed gets weird, kinda rending that useless when changing tempos. These are all minor issues, not getting in the way of our overall and immediate enjoyment of this thing. I hope this will continue to encourage and facilitate my daughter's love of music. If you're still reading this, definitely just buy it. Even just one or two plays with it pays for itself IMO.

My child absolutely loves the VTech KidiStar DJ Mixer! 🎧 From the moment we opened it, they were laughing, dancing, and mixing sounds like a little pro. The built-in music, sound effects, and lights make it feel like a real DJ setup and the Bluetooth feature lets them mix in their own favorite songs, which adds so much replay value. Her fav toy this Christmas 2025! I’ve been a customer of VTech for a long time. But a DJ mixer? I was so sceptical. Especially for $50. But parents this is worth the money! My 3.5 year old can’t get enough. In fact after I showed her how to change the sounds etc on the board, she took off with it!! She closed her eyes, and legit started moving her head around while she pressed sounds on the board. I can’t take it!! She vibes on this thing. It’s the coolest thing to see. Somehow it’s simple enough to use but not “toy” feeling either. They made it easy to use but not too easy. Includes a lot of pre recorded music styles and sounds. Scratch disc is super cool, the lights make it even more amazing. My daughter is developmentally normal/ahead, never been exposed to a DJ mixer before, and doesn’t see me close my eyes and vibe to music. I usually dance around her. Video upload was going to take too long- attached a pic! Get this even if you think your kid may be too young for it!!

My seven year old loves it. The light is fun and adds a fun element. Easy to use and make new sounds. Can record own sounds. Can play real songs via bluetooth. enjoys the game/training academy. Easy to use with good prerecorded sounds
