The best for the price
Have no idea why people complaining about that device especially for that price point. This thing do the great job. Even with small 1/16'' thick lines

Easy Enough To Figure Out
The instructions and software were confusing, the stand doesn't match the diagram, and the language needed to be changed but I didn't pay for instructions, I paid for a vinyl cutting/plotting machine. This machine is fantastic for the price. If you've never used a vinyl cutter before then look up setup videos on youtube, blogs, or forums. You Setup The Stand- It's easier than a bionicle or Y7 lego set.- Look at the Picture On The Listing you won't find an accurate picture in the booklet. The closest looking one in the booklet might even confuse you because it has more pieces than what you actually get.Install The Software- If you don't have a CD drive, the same software is on the USB drive and you can use the same activation key.Turn it on- Plug it in *THEN* Turn the switch on. There is an emergency stop button on the backside and a reset button on the front.- Change the language to English, this will help you figure out how to use the buttons to navigate the menus.- Lower the cut force, my vinyl calls for 80g or so.- After you insert your vinyl Spring Levers in the back need to be engaged to grab the vinyl. If The levers move, if you put it too far to one side it won't roll against the wheel and it'll crumple up your vinyl immediately.Use the pen tool to test it first and make sure to select the pen tool in the cutting software. This model features a basic semi-automatic contour cutting feature and laser sensor.

Useless Machine
I received the Plotting Cutter and it looks like a great machine. However, there is no product serial number and it is required in order to install the software. I called the vendor and explained the problem. They asked for the Amazon order number, which I provided. The tech was unable to help me and forwarded the problem up their chain. I received a email this morning telling me they needed the Amazon order number - which I had provided previously. Needless to say, the machine looks good, but not much use since I cant get the software to install.

Fast, Accurate, Adjustable, Love it!!! Working on Mac
The media could not be loaded. I love this cutter. It does not “print” in color. Comes with a marker you can use for “plotting” which means you can draw lines in place of cutting with the blade.I used on windows 11 machine and it worked great. There is literally nobody online who was able to get this working with a Mac computer, however last night I was able to get it going. Note: you must be able to run windows on your Mac, it will not work with Mac OS as it doesn’t register.I love this cutter and it is lightweight considering how big it is and can easily be moved in the back seat of a big car

Great starter machine, with a software hiccup
21DEC2024: First vinyl cutter (34 inch semi-automatic) for me; bought after pricing out several signs I needed made vs buying the machine, materials, and time to do it myself (plus learning a new skill). Works very well though vinyl doesn't track perfectly straight no matter how much I adjust it (and I'm used to working with big plotters so not an amateur here; likely the feed roller is just slightly misaligned). Biggest issue I had was the software it came with, specifically the machine settings. Instructions say to use the model number on the cutter itself and the software would only relay half of the cutting code/instructions to the machine, resulting in half cut/incomplete cutting. Used other free software that worked perfect, but sliced across to protect their license. Reached out to Vevor for help with no response... Tried other cutters and found Cutter Y-870A to be the golden ticket! Cutting like crazy now!

I like this machine a lot
The only reasons I gave the mechine 3 stars are.The first machine arrived damaged missing a lot of parts. You can tell it came from an over packaged container from China.I contacted the seller first. As everyone should. But landed up contacting Amazon anyway. They arranged pickup and shipped me a new one. It's an awesome little machine. I'm stupid and thought printer/plotter meant it would both print and plot the cut. Well it just cuts. You can send the file to a regular printer if you wish. But this machine doesn't print. The customer service after the sell. Customers service was horrible. The vynal they sell with the machine. It is about as thick as wrapping paper. Just send it to recycling, it's garbage. It says its free, but we all know you pay for it.Though it does come with free software. You can't vectorize with it. Pretty much rendering the machine useless.Oh they will sell you the software. It cost more than the machine does. They do offer a monthly payment plan though. Pretty smart on their behalf, I guess. As far as the physical machine it's pretty cool. Cool enough that, after all the issues. I would probably buy another one. But heck I now have the software anyway.

Worked great from the word go
When I purchased this item, I was very skeptical. It was cheap and had enough good reviews that I took a chance. It is a well made, quality machine. buy extra blades. came fast and with everything it claimed to. If you cant assemble the base you are probably not qualified to own a vinyl cutter, try a different hobby. One tip I found helpful was the "test area" button in the software. lets the machine scroll through the entire area it will be cutting before it cuts anything. this feature helps you to see what the machine is thinking before it cuts in the wrong area. super helpful. A small red sticker I put on the blade tensioning wheel lets you see in an instant if the blade will go off vinyl.
