Works but needs careful handling
Absolutely fine. Like all Torx keys, though, careful positioning is essential if you don't want to destroy the bolt head. This is a weakness with the Torx system, especially where access is restricted or awkward. It's really time it was corrected.If you're not sure what I mean, compare how deeply an Allen key fits into its socket in the bolt head, compared to a Torx key, the tip of which barely engages.
