Sure you can! Holds cold or hot beverages

Q: Does it leak with the slider on the lid closed?

Yes, the slider is NOT anywhere near a watertight seal. It will leak slowly if tipped sideways or upside down. It is made a little cheaper than it looks on the video/pics, especially the whole lid. But it’s still worth the money! Best beer concealer ever!

Q: with a 12 oz can inserted inside, can you tip it back to drink without using the straw? would the liquid get underneath the can inside the cooler?

No, the liquid won’t get underneath the can. The seal that goes around the rim of the can is actually quite good. The seal from the sliding mouthpiece part is not quite good. If you close that, it will dribble. The video leads you to believe that it is some kind of “carbonation saver,” which is fully not the case. It was meant to be kept upright, all things considered. You will spill if it goes on it’s side, but the spill will be a slower dribble of the mouthpiece is closed. I mean, how cool is it that I had a Heineken while I was at my kid’s elementary school art night last night?!? It’s pretty cool. Not because I’m a drunk, but those types of crowds make me nervous and beer greases the skids for me. Buy this thing, you won’t be disappointed if you’re trying to conceal a drink in it!
