Works, no bulky dock when traveling now
The media could not be loaded. It worked with my switch oled with usb connected to a mains plug adapter. Just note that it's more convenient to pretty via a TV's usb port to save needing a mains adapter, but some TVs may not provide enough power. Please see my video to see the display getting transferred as I plug the hdmi into the tv

Great item to use switch in a second TV. You will need a power cable too though.

Brilliant device (get charger too as worth it)
I took the switch abroad a few weeks back but didn't want to take docking station but did want to let the kids play on the TV on an evening. This device along with the charger I got separately allowed me to connect to the TV and charge the switch so easily. Kids couldn't believe it. Size was perfect and so portable and for me just value for money.

Good bit of kit
This cable is awesome to have, it replaces the dock but you can’t use a wired controller, that is the only downside to this cable.

Item does not allow connection to TV. Tried multiple different way/options and it does not work!
