Worthy of its praise.
A book that is so hard to explain yet so easy to understand. Oscar Wilde was such an excellent writer.

Interesting but a little morbid
An interesting classic. It had a good tale and interesting moral dilemmas. Quite dark and morbid so don’t read if you want to feel warm and happy inside! I prefer monte cristo- still my favourite moral tale.

Interesting.
Dorian Gray in his youth is romantic, innocent & carefree later he becomes shallow, vain & brutal as he sells his soul for youth & beauty, Oscar Wilde perfectly describes the attitudes, experiences, social interactions & expectations of the Victorian era.
