The dubious claim of this being the first GL release from the early '80's, (um - volume 1 - March 1980!), is odd, but anyway, we're here for the music. This show is good, but I'm unsure quite why this was selected over others from this period. It is a good show, don't get me wrong, but not an upper tier show. And I've read how some unanimously say this is the single greatest 'Valerie'. Not sure about that, by any means, but I'll say this - it has a bloody brilliant 'Don't let go' - nice and jazzy. 'TLEO' is particularly nice. I think the filler, from 1981, is what makes this disc better. On the whole, solid 4 stars. Either way, for us Jerryholics, keep 'em coming!!
