Q: The motor whines when I turn it on for a for minutes but then stops, anyone else had this issue?

Mine was doing the same thing. It's in my bedroom and I thought I was hearing something outside at night but it was the plug. I am too scared it's going to start a fire to plug it back in.

Q: Its Starts up and probably 1 minute after turns off, no matter what setting i put it in. What's wrong with my diffuser?

Do you have enough water in it? If so, I would contact Amazon or the manufacturer to return or exchange it.
