My My Little Pony Movie Review
I was hyped about the new theatrical movie based off of Friendship is Magic of it since it was announced a while ago. Especially when I was now warming up to the show.I know that it's odd when we got Equestria Girls films, but for a movie like this one, It was the one I'm sure that it's gonna be a great movie for the theaters as well as the one of this year, and I can tell it was worth the long wait for it. :3This movie is the most faithful to the series and for a movie that was based on a toyline, every single bit of it from right down to the art-style, and the character traits. The animation is more styled to fit in the big screen by animated in traditional hand-drawn style of Toonboom instead of Adobe's Flash animation and it really did made it look so beautiful. There might be a few or a couple of nitpicks here and there, but overall, it was a great movie, regardless of if whether or not your a Brony or Pegasister.I guess that I would say that I too, can be a proud Pegasister. ^_^Oh, I forgot to tell you about what do I think about the short film about Hanazuki: Full of Treasures short that was featured before the start of the film. I say that even if I haven't seen the series of it. It's a cute short that tells us it's own lesson of friendship and with good quirks of humor. ^^And for that movie about ponies, it earns my respect enough to have it on the levels of the animated movies like, Inside Out, Moana, The Lego Batman Movie, Song of the Sea, Beauty and the Beast, and Kubo and the Two Strings, and also the levels of the movies that are based on a cartoon, like The Simpsons Movie and The Chipmunk Adventure. And for the first time, I can award a movie that is this great with my own KatieGirl Seal Of Beauty.KatieGirl Seal of Beauty by KatieGirlsForever

The Ponies You Love But Fancier Looking
Friendship really is magic, and this sweet little movie is magical. I love this movie, and I love these cartoons, because I love the message in them. The idea that kindness, generosity, laughter, loyalty, and honesty creates magic between friends shouldn't be a foreign concept, but cynicism is strong in people. We tend to believe the worst in people, and so we confirm it by showing them little in the way of those qualities we most desire for ourselves. This movie shows what can happen when we believe in ourselves and in our friends, when we step up and accept that friendship is a two way street, and that everyone is worthy of love and redemption. As for the film itself, the voice acting is spot on, the characters are the ones many of us have loved since we started watching the cartoon years ago, and the budget is clearly bigger, as the animation is gorgeous. The soundtrack is catchy, too, with my favorite songs being "Time To Be Awesome," and "Open Up Your Eyes," the latter which is brilliantly sung by Emily Blunt. I wasn't much for Capper (voiced by Taye Diggs), but he was competently played. The villain, the much vaunted Storm King, was probably the weakest element, but I didn't care about the villain, what I ultimately cared about was the sweet little ponies I've come to love getting together on an adventure, and having a great time, which they did, and I did as well.I highly recommend the film, and the series. It's worth every penny, and then some. That said, just remember, if you ever think you're friendless and alone, you're wrong. You have more friends than you know. :)

Slightly dark for MLP but a fun movie.
Got the feeling someone was making another movie entirely and then decided 'let's throw the My Little Ponies in it!'. Many characters don't seem to fit into a happy kid show where they worship friendship. Many times you think it could have gotten a lot darker if it wasn't being made for kids. The movie in general has the feel as if the real plot was a war between kid movie logic and growing up into a world where you have to accept hard decisions and things not being handled in a fun way that works out just because your buddies were there. It ends as you would expect though and in the end is a kids show, though a bit 'scary' for sensitive kids who can't handle bad guys. Or if your kid can pick up on certain dark elements without them going over thier heads. Who am I kidding though. All the people I know who watch FIM are old enough to have jobs, and a co worker with kids who watches it complains her daughter hates the show. But overall it's just a fun movie and I'm rating it on that.
