Hello dear, glad to answer your question. Currently, any neck stretcher that does not have a lying support device cannot be used lying down. Please do not believe any advertisements that you can use it lying down without a recumbent support device, this is an irresponsible statement. Q: What’s is the Max neck diameter this will fit?

The diameter of my neck is 16 inches. Given the length of the Velcro strip that secures the neck brace, I would estimate that it currently will fit a neck of 17 inches. If the Velcro strips were to be lengthened another 2-3 inches, it then would fit an even larger neck. If nothing else, I would recommend that these two Velcro strips were extended another 1-2 inches.

Q: Can you use this just one time a day for one hour? Instead of 2x a day.

Sure. I only used it once a day. It was good but you should have a physical therapist supervise you the first time.
