I rated the features as...--5 starts for "Durability" and "Easy to clean".--4 stars for "Easy to use".I read some other reviews about using this item and thought that if the same thing happened to me I may give it a 4 star overall rating.When I got the item, I did have a slight problem using it but it did not bother me and I noticed that the item is is VERY WELL DONE. If if wasn't the "register" problem (read below), I would have given it 5 stars overall.So what is the "Easy to use" problem (as I see it)?Put the lid on its back (with its "feet" up) and you will notice a groove.The edge of your pot HAS to go in this groove.To get the lid on you will to work the edge into the groove, but the work is not much (for me) which is why I would have given it a 5 star overall if it was not for the "register" problem.Why 3 stars overall (the math does not add up with the features rated as 5 and 4)?Mainly because of how you are instructed to "register" for "warranty service".I contacted The Smarty Co --the maker of the lid and seal-- and ask them "...Can you direct me to the direct page to register?".Their response, "...Simply “Like” our FB Page...If you need any warranty service...we will reference your Amazon Order ID and our FB...".What? o.0 I have to like their Facebook (FB) page to get warranty service*. I don't think that is right so I contacted them again and asked..."You have to "Like" your Facebook (FB) page. Is that correct?So...If you don't have a FB account and/or just don't like/use FB, then you can't get warranty service. Is that correct?".Their response, "...If there is no FB account no problem, we can simply use your Amazon Order ID...".In the same email that also said, "...Our silicone is super durable so it will last a very long time...". I not only agree with that, I also think that they should increase their warranty because the odds are is that they would not have to pay out.But come on. The company seems to be "tricking" people into liking their FB page.That bad behavior should not be rewarded and should be punished.If I feel like this, why not a 1 or 2 star rating?If the lid works for you, it does not rate (in my opinion) a 1 or 2 star rating. It is just to well made.* I don't see me as needing warranty service with this product because of how well done it is made. I think that they should increase their warranty up to 5 years or lifetime because I think the lid would last a lifetime.

This is my lifesaver. I put all the ingredients in my Instant Pot the night before, pop on this lid and stick it in the fridge. In the morning I pop off the lid, and put dinner on for that night. The lid fits tightly, so I do not worry about spills, or those pesky smells. (I seem to be using a lot of garlic and onions lately.) Great investment.

I've had a similar lid on my wish list for some time now but never could bring myself to check out because of the high price. So glad I came across this. Such a great deal that I bought in both colors. For the lid itself, I was pleasantly surprised at how heavy duty it is. Fits great on my IP nicely. Easy on. Easy off. No more annoying plastic wrap and aluminum foil that just won't stay on and keep sealed to protect my food, specially when I make rice.Happy customer!

If you're like my husband who sticks everything in refrigerator in the pot it was cooked in, this is the answer to the dilemma for a lid. The perfect answer would be to put the leftovers in a smaller container, but since he does the dishes, he's conservative about dirtying up another container, lol.

This product was not as advertised. It doesn't snap shut at all. Instead, it just sits loosely on top so it's not airtight. Food liquids leak when the pot is tipped. And the lid even comes off if the pot is tipped further. I will have to wrap the top of my pot with plastic wrap and perhaps tin foil on top of that to make this lid finally snap shut and be airtight but I shouldn't have to do all of this just to make this product the way it should've been in the first place. I'm very unhappy with this purchase.

I have an 8 quart Instant Pot. I had read many reviews about the lid sold under the "Instant Pot" label and the one sold by "Smarty." I chose the "Smarty" product. I cannot make any comment about the "Instant Pot" lid because I have no experiences with it, but I am totally satisfied with my "Smarty" lid. Some reviews said that it fit too tightly and was difficult to put on. That was not my experience. When I was attaching the lid I started in one place and just went around the rim rolling it over the lip. It went on very easily. It came off just as easily. To make sure it was leak and spill proof, I filled it up with water to the "full line" and then secured the lid. When I tipped it over there were no leaks or spills. To test it further, I inverted the pot and shook it in attempt to dislodge the lid. No go, it stayed in place. I am very pleased with my purchase.

From pot to fridge just got easier. Air tight, stays on even upside down. Doesn't in my experience hold odors. You have to pry at the edge to get it off. Easier if you cool to room temperature before sealing the lid on, else the partial vacuum formed in the fridge makes opening easier. Easy to clean. The only thing that might stain it is turmeric or strong curry. But doesn't seem to retain any odors. The only downside you might want to buy another inner pot while your first one is in the fridge.

I wasn't expecting too much when I ordered this lid on Amazon to go with my new Instant Pot (which I didn't buy on Amazon), but am really happy with it. For the price, it is extremely good quality, heavy duty silicone, and should last for many many years, and appears to be close to indestructible. It fits the Instant Pot great (almost too good since it takes a little wiggling to get it on, but that may improve as I get used to it) and affords a very tight seal to keep food fresh and keep it from leaking if you're transporting it somewhere, like to a potluck. It's so sturdy that I can stack other things on top of it in the fridge safely. I recommend this over other lids you might see online.

This lid is amazingly thick, flexible and substantial, and it seals the pot very tightly. I chilled some soup with the lid on, and it created a vacuum that "sucked in" the lid, that's how tightly it sealed.I can't comment on the seal ring because I don't need it yet, but I'm glad that I have one in reserve.Price seemed a bit high, but now that I have it, I realize what great quality and value it is!

This item fits the pot perfectly in the Instant Pot duo 60. Not sure about the other sizes but this one fits mine just right. It's nice and thick and fits really snug, I can bring chilli without even worrying that it will spill out, its that snug!Thanks for the great product.Jeff

Got 2 of these for family members. Takes a bit of effort to fit the lid but it appears to be spill proof. Can't attest to it's durability but by the look of it, it should be durable so I am giving it 4 stars in durability instead of 5 - can't be 100% sure. Recommended.

Great product, great quality (heavy and sturdy) and provides a very good seal on the pot. This is one of the only items that I got from Amazon which I use practically every day! Highly recommended.

Love the color coding, so I can use a specific color for each type of food. One for chili, one for yogurt etc., so the smells don’t contaminate the other foods.

This IS NOT a cheap piece of plastic; this is heavy-duty silicon lid that will outlive me! I received exactly what was described and that product is excellent.

Worked to replace the ring that one of my wife’s co workers stole when she took it in for a pot luck. Seriously people, just order a new one when you loose yours, don’t steal mine

2 words to describe it: "It works".Besides fitting on a 6 qt instant pot's inner pot, it surprises me as it also works on Panasonic 10 bowels rice cooker inner pot. Now, I am tempted to buy another one.

While I haven't used it yet it appears to be a super high-quality item. Better quality than I expected. I'll update this review if I have any issues.

Haven’t had to use either yet, but they’re ready when I need them. Look very good, it’s good to have the extra seal ring for instant pot.

Not much to say... it's a lid to cover the pot to store leftovers or ingredients pre-made before cooking. It fits. That's all that matters.
