H**!
Magnets hold the faces together! This is my favorite regular polyhedron.
The 12 faces come apart and can be reconfigured numerous ways. But the Pentagonal-Dodecahedron is my favorite shape. [DoDecahedron; think of two plus ten faces put together. Each face has five edges so is a pentagon, thus pentagonal]. Great phrase to teach your kid of any age![Plato identified the only five regular polyhedrons, the "Platonic Solids": tetrahedron , cube, octahedron, pentagonal dodecahedron, and the icosahedron-20 faces].

Cool toy, slightly overpriced in my opinion
Very cool. My teenager asked for this for Christmas. He’s a bit clumsy and has dropped these or had bits go flying and no damage. There are several interesting shapes you can create. The pieces have barely perceptible markings to help you understand how to best join pieces for greatest effect.

Four Stars
It's not quite as fun as the other puzzles.

Not as good as original.
Not as great as the original Ball of Whacks but has some unique features in the way the magnets and shapes interact.

Seems limited but it is actually fun
I have all (that I know) similar puzzles -- ball of Whacks, X-Ball, Y-Ball. Great to play while listening to boring telephone calls.

Disappointed
A bit disappointed with this one. Thought I'd be able to do more with it...
