Drown the embers before throwing into garbage!
This is an incredibly nice, sturdy fire pit and definitely competitive to the well-known name brand version. If you are thinking about using this for backpacking, think again - it is too heavy for that. This is good in my opinion because there's no need to worry about it tipping over in wind or similar. This is perfect for my small back deck to enjoy a small fire on cool evenings. It comes with everything and then some. A carry bag, little tongs to place the wood or charcoal (which I hugely appreciated because I've had issues with that with my other stove), and even fire starters and some marshmallow forks! You can use either charcoal, wood, or wood pellets - I use small wood chunks followed by sticks I gather in my yard. The only reason I deducted a star is that the instructions say, and I quote, "Most of these embers will stay on top of the pellets adapter, you can use a poker to remove the adapter and dump these embers into the garbage." That is INSANE. That is a great way to start your garbage, your house, and everything else on fire. The instructions should specify that the embers need to be completely cold and ideally completely wet if they are to be thrown in garbage. You would think this would be common sense but common sense isn't, and if they're going to give instructions they should be safe ones.

Great product!
This little Fire Pit was the hit of our last BBQ with friends. It's easy to use, no mess, no smoke, it throws off a lot of heat, it's beautiful at night, and we even made s'mores with it - it appears to be very well made.I used the Flame Genie FG-P20 Premium Wood Pellets available here, and they burned clean for a good amount of time.I'm gonna pick up a few more of these to spread around, and they'll make perfect Christmas gifts as well.

Easy start with pellets
It was heavier than I expected. It appears to be well constructed. I have only tried once to "burn" it and get rid of any odor or fumes. I used pellets which was the main reason I bought it. It worked great.

Perfect
Very nice! Sightly bigger that Solo Stove Mesa Xl. Flames in less than 1 minute, no smoke, very hot flames. Made a grill for top to heat coffee from old PC metal fan guard, fit perfect.

Crown Fire Tabletop Fire Pit Review
I've recently added the Crown Fire Tabletop Fire Pit to my collection of outdoor accessories, specifically for my balcony space. It's designed as a smokeless firepit, which is ideal for settings where open flames are a concern but you still want the cozy ambiance of a fire. This mini fire stove, which can be fueled by pellets or wood, also doubles as a s'mores maker, complete with tongs and roasting sticks. Here's my experience with it:The fire pit itself has impressed me with its build quality. Given its compact size, I had initial reservations about how well it would perform and hold up over time, but it feels decently made and sturdy. It's perfect for those evenings when you want to enjoy some roasted marshmallows without the hassle of starting a large outdoor fire. However, not everything included in the package lived up to my expectations. The tongs that come with the fire pit are too stiff, which makes them challenging to use effectively. This was a bit of a letdown, especially when you need precision and ease of use for safety around open flames. On the other hand, the extendable forks are a fantastic idea, particularly for marshmallow roasting. They extend nicely, allowing for a comfortable distance from the heat. Yet, the material feels thin and somewhat cheap. My concern is that they might not withstand the test of time or frequent use, which is disappointing considering how handy they are for the intended purpose of the fire pit.Pros:- Excellent build quality of the fire pit, offering durability and a smokeless experience.- Ideal size for balcony use, providing the ambiance of a fire without the complications of larger setups.- The concept of including tongs and extendable forks is thoughtful, enhancing the s'mores-making experience.Cons:- The tongs provided are too stiff, limiting their usefulness in managing the fire or food safely.- Extendable forks, while great in theory, are made of thin, seemingly cheap material, raising doubts about their longevity.Final Thoughts:The Crown Fire Tabletop Fire Pit is a delightful addition to my balcony, enabling me to enjoy the warmth and fun of roasting marshmallows without a full-sized fire pit. Its construction and functionality as a fire pit are commendable. However, the accessories could use some improvement in terms of usability and quality. Despite the drawbacks of the tongs and forks, the overall value and enjoyment I get from the fire pit make it a worthwhile purchase. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a compact, smokeless fire solution, with a note to perhaps consider alternative tools for the actual roasting part.
