Spirit Island: Nature Incarnate - Expansion Board Game, New Spirits, Mechanics, Adversary & More, Settler Destruction

Never played it myself, because this was a gift for my husband, but I think his gaming group have played this over the last couple of years more than any other game in his collection. Recommended.

This expansion adds several new mechanics and some very different spirits to the game. It offers a totally different play style with the new spirits. And each of them feels totally unique. A great addition to my favourite board game.

Not an essential purchase. I'd only recommend it to people who really like Spirit Island. You will need to have a copy of Jaggered Earth and the base boardgame. This extension adds 8 complex spirits and numerous aspect cards to modify existing spirits. There are several new fear, event, and major power cards - but no minor power cards. There is a cool new rule for 'incarna' spirits. The spirits are well designed - but its not an essential purchase. I like it though!

Schon das Hauptspiel ist super, die Erweiterung passt toll und macht Spieleabende lang. Ich messe immer die Qualität eines Spiels an der Menge Chips , die nicht gegessen wird ;-) und es blieb viel übrig

Love the game, I personally don't like catan and how it just favors players with close friendships. However, this game is for sure a strategic game that needs a lot of thinking and teamwork to defeat this progressing npc invasion. I love the expansion spirits and the new scenarios as it makes the game harder than the base game giving me a challenge. I honestly love to play "Dances up Earthquakes" as this spirit just keeps building up power and then unleashing it around round 5 or 6. I love the game and honestly worth the money to invest.

Not only is Spirit Island the best strategic co-op game on the market, it’s one of those games where I can recommend every expansion as they only improve the game in every aspect. More events? More fear cards? More blight cards? More spirits that are not only incredibly fun but bring in new mechanics to the game? Hells to the yeah! A definite buy for any Spirit Island fan.
