The product is nice looking. It was easy to assemble and took me maybe an hour. It is definetly sturdy. I am glad I purchased it and have considered adding 2" lifts under it to see if it would be easier to get up from on my aging back. The only thing that would make it better would be if the cushion cover wasn't white. I am considering creating a pattern and making my own replacement cover.

This item assembled easily and looks like the picture. But it is shorter than I imagined - it is about the size of a foot locker. We can fit 8 pair of shoes - so each of us get four pair in the front hall. The bench feels very low for adults - but great for kids - nevertheless we still sit on it together put our shoes on - so it can bear over 400lbs easily. Our previous shoe holder that my dogs broke was much larger, so it could have set my expectations wrong. However, because it is smaller the dogs don't run into it when they are running to the door to bark at the Amazon delivery person :)

Update: After about a week the smell has mostly dispersed. Cushion can be 'softened' by smashing it all over to break up the cheap foam. For the Sellers part they seem to be aware and working on fixing the cushion. After installing the back screws the bench seems to have squared up, however I have no clue how you could do this if you didn't already have power tools. Overall not as bad as my first impression, but you still get what you pay forHorrid quality, bench comes together crooked enough to wobble. Stinks to hell with the formaldehyde compounds used to treat the wood, and the cushion might as well not exist with how hard and low quality it is. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste money on this even “on sale” for 160

Easy to follow directions, took my husband and I about 90 minutes to put together. Has worked well for us so far! Magnetic doors are nice

Love that the shelves are adjustable to fit different size shoes! Drawers are great for holding hats and gloves as well!

I bought two of these for my newly remodeled mudroom, one for each of my small kiddos. It's perfect for them to store their shoes, boots and the drawers so their hats and gloves don't go missing as quickly. Really sturdy to sit on and well made for this price point! Would buy over and over.
