I was more interested in listening to the music as part of the bands history, which is very interesting, as pertaining to music created during the late 60s and how fast this group wanted to make it.

A fab update and the mixes forgot how good the record is. Very enjoyable.

Strange Days indeed! I was a little concerned about this reissue as I had heard that the original master tapes were nigh on unusable and that a digital transfer was the source. Regardless this is a great sounding album, full of little nuances that previous reissues either miss entirely or lose in the mix.Highly recommended, now for some more Doors.

The Doors at their most kooky and individual best. For the true fans out there not impressed by the generic best of's. This and Waiting for the Sun will give you the truest sense of the Doors ecclecticism and phsycadelic edge.

VInyl sounds a tad hollow... i played side by side with my copy on CD the CD sounds better...
