Seems to be decent quality. Good protection at the points of connection. Works as advertised. Haven't had it long enough to verify it yet, so I can only give 4 stars for the subcategories. But overall, 5 stars for being/doing exactly what I expected. Though honestly, I feel as though it's overpriced. I feel like I paid for that noticeable orange color (and brand), than for the actual quality of the product. I couldn't blame anyone for just getting a cheap USB cable and making sure to not stress the connection points. With decent support you could get away with a cheaper one that will last just as long. Just don't forget to get something brightly colored because that's also a benefit of this cable.

Worth every penny! Excellent cable for tethering.

It worked great for me. I went to their website, tethertools.com and found the correct cable I would need. I have a Canon 5D Mark 2. I downloaded a 30 day free trial of Capture One. There is an attachment you can buy for the tether cable so it doesn't come out of your camera. I dont have that, but I would recommend it. The cable came out a few times, but only because I stepped on the cable, not being used to tethering and having said cable plugged in. Tethering makes a HUGE difference! You can see detail in your shot, you can apply changes, curves adjustments, bring up the shadows, etc., on an image and then the next images you take will have those changes automatically. Thats when you use Capture One. Not an advocate for them, I just didnt have anything else to use to tether with. Tethering is a game changer as you'll see. If you' re used to looking at a tiny LCD to determine if you've got the shot, as we all know, cant really see details. I highly recommend this cable for tethering and obviously going to their website to determine the correct cable you will need.

Very good quality product and compatibility

First of all, it's a great product!!! Good quality and get's the job done! When I was buying this I payed attention to fit it with my camera, but totally forgot about my laptop, which is pretty old and doesn't have type C-USB. So at first I thought to send this cable back and order the one with USB 3, but then though I will probably change the laptop to a new one soon or late, so I have just ordered the adapter which is pretty cheap, and now I can use bot for usb 3 or type C. They do have one for usb 3, so you can chose that one if you want. So it was my little mistake, but I'm super happy with what I have now!
