No, it's just moulded hard plastic.

Q: What is the height of the footrest from the floor?

The footrest to the upper opening of the base plate is approximately 11-31.5cm.

Q: Do these stools start to squeak after a few months?

Mine did start to squeak but a touch of WD 40 sorted it. On another note, the hydraulics in one of them (I bought 4) sometimes has to be pumped up a few times to ensure the stool maintains ideal height

Q: is it good for pregnant women?

its sturdy goes up and down easy but the actual seat is not that wide from front to back hope this helps
