Just picked up the new 42mm Apple watch series 3. At over $400, I wanted to do what I could to protect the screen. For a screen protector, I looked for (1) a glass screen protector (2) with full-screen coverage (meaning that it not only covers the top flat surface of the device, but also protects the curved area of the watch glass.This screen protector has a lot of good things going for it, but the one flaw is so bad that I nearly gave it one star.First the good. It seems to be high quality glass, has easy, bubble free insulation, and is packed very well in protective packaging.Now the bad. While billed as a full protection screen protector, the the glass curve on the screen protector does not match the glass curve on the watch glass. The result is that it leaves a protruding "lip". At first, I thought it would not be a big deal. Looked a little unfinished but I could live with it for full protection. However, Today was the the first day I've used it at the office. My watch hand brushed the edge of the door as I entered the building, and the corner of the screen protector caught it and ripped the screen protector off the watch, chipping the corner of the screen protector.This is a serious flaw which I believe many people will experience problems with.It they can get the curve to match the watch and eliminate that protruding lip, it'd be a great product

Item came as advertised and putting it on the face of my Apple watch was easy and without issue....but....One thing you'll notice when you place this on your watch is that there are strips of adhesive that run along the outer edge. But they do not touch in the corners. This leaves a small gap where things like dirt, water and, of all things hair, can find a way to slide in under the glass. When I first put this on my watch it was flawless and I was happy with the result. I'm a dog owner and now a week later I've found hairs that have gotten caught by the edge of the glass that do no make contact with the watch on the edges and a hair managed to slide into the gap in the adhesive in the lower right corner. So if you're not a pet owner you'll probably be happy with the product. However, if you own anything that sheds its fur you probably don't want to buy this product.

If you don’t take showers or use your waterproof Apple Watch while swimming...u might like this product for me it was not a good purchase at all. At first I liked it ok. I was surprised to find the edges a little abrasive when you swiped across the screen. Probably not a big deal for most for me it was sort of a bummer but probably would have gotten used to it. Then came the water... I was disappointed to have water get between the screen of the Apple Watch and the protector after showering. Could not get the water out. Very disappointed. I had this for just under 13 hours before I removed it all together. I would suggest passing and getting a different product. Not sure what to buy now.

If you want to ruin the watch touch experience you'll love this product, if you want your watch touch functions to work as they do without the screen protector - keep looking. The protector does not sit entirely flush on the watch face, it's ever so slightly elevated off the watch face. This requires you to use extra pressure for any touch and swipe gestures. While it may sound like a minor inconvenience, it quickly becomes a major annoyance - especially when it's cold outside or your in a hurry. I pulled the protector off my watch after a couple of weeks, amazed at how response the touch experience is again.

I had high hopes for this screen protector for my Apple watch due to the positive reviews, but I am very disappointed. Wish I could give this ZERO STARS!!! This product is one of the worst purchases I made on Amazon. I was able to apply the screen protector without any bubbles despite no included installation instructions. After installation, the touch screen becomes unresponsive and is totally useless. I could not even enter my passcode to unlock the watch until the protector was removed. How can this protector get such good reviews? I noticed that all the 5 star reviews except one were made on January 10 or 15 by reviewers who did not have a verified purchase. These 5 star reviews buried the1 star reviews made by reviewers who had VERIFIED PURCHASES. PLEASE READ ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE DECIDING FOR YOURSELF WHO IS TELLING THE TRUTH. REAL AND TRUTHFUL REVIEWS COME FROM THOSE WHO HAVE VERIFIED PURCHASES.

I recently purchased the 42mm screen protector. It doesn't curve enough on the sides to fit flush against the watch screen. However, it's still sticky right out to the edge, so things like lint or pet hairs get stuck between the screen protector and your watch screen. Also, because it sits above the screen and not flush against it, things snag on it easily. I've had it on my watch for about a week, and it snagged the sleeve of my shirt today and pulled the corner of the screen protector so that the glass actually broke. I had to remove it and throw it in the trash after just a week of use. Finally, it makes the touch screen less responsive, so I sometimes had a hard time ending a workout or exiting an app because it wouldn't recognize my touch.

it does not press down to the point it is flush with the metal base of the watch this leaving a 'lip' at the edge of the glass to catch on shirt sleeves, jacket pockets, etc.(see other reviewers pics)the adhesive only runs along the edge of the protector. the 'clear' portion of the glass does not have an adhesive film/backing; it just sits above the surface of the watch face. It is crystal clear but it is not like the fully adhesive-backed screen protector you likely have on your phone.I popped a corner up on the first evening. it caught while putting on my coat. was easy enough to push back on but popped off again later.will be ordering a more 'traditional' fully adhesive backed glass protector today.I do not recommend this product.

Looks great until water wicks under screen protector. The adhesive does not continue to the corners. I believe that is where water wicked in after washing my hands.
