OptiProducts 80/85L HEAVY DUTY BLACK PLASTIC RUBBISH REFUSE BIN WASTE W/LOCKING LID

I tried to add a lock to our cheap bins, but the foxes kept getting into them. The plastic on the lid and body were so flimsy that the lock was easily bypassed. Once this bin arrived I could immediately feel that it had more rigid and sturdy plastic, and we've had no fox problems with it. The lock is simple and intuitive.

No problems at all with this product .... it seems tough, the lockable handles work well enough to lie it down on the back seat of your car, even when full. Care needed when fitting the handles into their sockets ... take it easy not to damage the sockets. It smells heavily of new polythene when first opened, so might be a bit unpleasant to some if used indoors .... though it doesn't bother me a t all

For the money, very happy with this bin, thick plastic and solid, not like the cheap thin ones you see getting blown about, or dumped because they split. Would take quite a bit to split or crack this one. 4 stars, why, because the locking handles dont line up on one side, still lockable, just awkward to do, otherwise i would not hesitate to give this 5 stars, which would be rare. but can recommend seller and the product highly.

Up until recently I had been using smallish bins where I was emptying them on a regular basis. Moreover, when you removed the black bag from the bin it was only half-full or even less than that. Now, the bag remains in the bin until it is completely full... just what I wanted. A fantastic buy!! Buy BIG; buy BLACK... you will not be disappointed!!

Sturdy. Easy to lock. Does not seem flimsy. Came wrapped packaging which was great. Very smoky smell when initially opened so I just wiped out and left to air. I use this for a sealed bag of 20kg dog food to stop it being exposed to humidity and mites etc. Works very well and very sturdy. Very well priced. Can see it having a lot of uses.

Used to store my black bags before bin day as the cats always rip them open. This is perfect for that job. Nice size not too big to fit around the side of the house. Little lightweight and the catch isn't the best but it does the job so no complaints especially for the price. Good little buy.

Does what we asked of it. We store of recycled plastics in it looping the tie loop of the clear polythene bag through the lid lock. We've had bins before and the wind has taken the lids this shouldn't happen again. We put half a breeze block in the bottom to stop it blowing over.

Great value, arrived quickly ( box a bit battered, but not the bin). I use it for loose garden compost & you can get a lot in it. Lid is secure and locking clips are good. Solid when empty & really sturdy when full. Would buy again if I needed another one. (Great amazon delivery as I'd not get this in the boot of my car!!)
