Extra bulk and wiring to try and dress for handy use and aesthetics. Not much of a problem if your equipment is close to a wall or cabinet within which you can store the excess wiring and unit.

A simple to connect converter for converting simple CVBS composite video signals for devices that only have HDMI inputs. No sync issues, small and easy to hide away or mount.

This product has allowed me to finally watch the few vhs tapes I have left. It does a decent job and works great for home videos and black and white movies. However, it has a difficult time with copy protected tapes. It will leave either the occasional green or red on top of the screen, or the picture will warble in the upper right corner. This to me is a minor nuisance, but could be a major one to some. It will not make the quality the tape better than it is so don’t expect miracles.

This worked perfect for me. Plug n play. The only thing I didn't like is that if the video I was using had any problems, I would get a blue screen. My video was in bad shape so I was happy to see any of it, so this made my day. After using it for a few hours I would happily buy it again!

I've bought a lot of items on Amazon, some of them pretty iffy, which I have taken in stride....this is, by far, the cheapest built, worst product that I've bought. The analog jacks are undersized to the point that a quality monster cable pivots on them. I was only using this for the video signal, so I can't attest to the audio jacks, but I had to prop the unit at a perfect angle and then pull to the side on the analog cable to get the signal to go through.I had the audio running through my theater system and it ran about a 1/4-1/2 of a second ahead of the video. This probably wouldn't be an issue if I ran all of the signals through this technological speedbump, but I wasn't about to waste any more time rerouting my cables just to find out that the other analog input jacks are a joke too.Judging by the extremes in the reviews, I'm guessing that their quality control starts here...buy at your own risk, order two if you are in a time crunch and want to roll the dice, otherwise, you're time should be worth enough that you find something else, I'm going to newegg with hopes of finding better results on this seemingly simple tech hack.

I used this product to connect my IPOD classic (Yup still have one!) with all my music to my TV using HDMI port 2. This gadget allowed me to play music to my Bose sound bar. Easy to set up. IPOD classic does not have bluetooth, so this was the best option. There is no album cover display on my TV, as my IPOD does not support. I knew this going into this. But I do get my music and works well. The downer for me is the power connection is loose and frequently needs to be "jiggled" to restore power. This is a major disappointment. Does take away from my enjoyment of this simple gadget's purpose. I would rate higher if it did not have this issue.

This device does exactly what it advertises: Converts RCA to HDMI. Be aware, it only works in one direction; if you want to convert from HDMI to RCA, you'll need a different device. I am using it to re-purpose my 25 year old camcorder into a camera I can use with my computer monitor. (If you have the right software, you can record the screen image to a disk drive, USB, or hard drive.) Quite pleased with the apparatus and the seller.
